- MGMisha GodekMay 27, 20261.0I requested a quote for plumbing services and had a gentleman from the service department come to my home for an estimate. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. He arrived extremely underdressed for a professional service call and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke to the point where the odor lingered after he left. He briefly looked around, mentioned he forgot his business cards, and told me I would receive a quote by Friday that week. After nearly two weeks passed with no communication, I followed up myself. During the call, he did not remember who I was, and even after I gave him my full name, he referenced the wrong house and street. He then gave several excuses as to why the quote still was not completed and repeatedly said he would “try” to get it done before going away. When I asked if someone else in the company could assist me, he said no. At that point, I decided to move on and contact another company. Overall, the experience felt very unorganized and unprofessional, which left me uncertain about the quality and reliability of the work that would be performed. To put it into perspective, the other company I contacted was able to come out and provide me with a quote the very next morning.
