  Chris Barton was recommended by a neighbor. My parents are elderly and needed both of their full bathrooms upstairs redone. They are very resistant to change and it took a lot of convincing for them to do this project. The finished product is what we wanted however, we had a few challenges along the way. First, the one bathroom and stair railing that we discussed in the consultation were not even on the estimate. In hindsight, that should have been the first red flag. The number one issue was communication from the contractor as far as status, updates, and schedule. When you are reliant on a bathroom or you have the expectation to be home when a contractor is in your home, you need a defined schedule and that schedule to be adhered to. Numerous times we had to contact the contractor for information. The contractor installed a tub/shower and the drain pipe was not properly connected. This caused water to pour from the second floor down into the kitchen cabinet. The contractor does not have an emergency phone number and it was difficult to get a prompt response when this happened. The contractor did fix the leak and replaced a wooden board in the cabinet however, this should not have happened in the first place, especially since I put my trust in them to not only do the project correctly but in a timely manner. This added weeks to the completion of the job. They never performed a final inspection and walk-thru and expected payment. We had to perform our own inspection and discovered issues with parts of the tub not caulked/properly sealed. And again, I had to call twice about this issue before it was taken care of. The contractor did offer to discount future work because of their screw-up however, I decided to decline because of the issues we had and were not confident in their service.

  We highly recommend C. Barton Services for any remodeling needs! Our experience was great from start to finish. Working with Shannon and Lucie in the office was easy and informative. The guys who did our work - George and Jason - were fantastic. They were patient with our questions, friendly, and professional. We enjoyed having them at our house to do the work and couldn't be more pleased with the results!

  Our project was completed and overall we are happy with the results but my general feeling during the renovation was frustration so we will not go with C. Barton Services again on future projects. Slow response time from the office, forgetting minor details, offering items to us that were then seemingly a problem to go and get... just felt very disjointed and uncoordinated.

  If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I had my basement done by C Barton Services, LLC. Chris Barton came to my home for the estimate, and when he was done explaining everything, I knew this is the company we wanted to hire. Jesse Kell the project manager was also extremely knowledgeable and personable. Jesse was there for all my questions and boy did I have a lot. ( Thanks Jesse for your patience) I would like to give a shout out to the teams who handled each stage of the project. Lewis, Reed, Gabe, Greg, Leander, Dave and Chad. All of these men were super polite, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and very respectful to my home. If you're interested in having your basement done, I would highly recommend C Barton Services, LLC. Just a side note. I hired them for a second project as soon as they were done the basement. That's is how much I respect and appreciate their work.

  C Barton Services and his crew do excellent work. I was a little disappointed in communication during the early stages of our bathroom remodel planning (when trying to pick out a contractor) and then during the process of picking out all the fixtures and getting them ordered, but once we got through that, we were very pleased. They are extremely busy and in demand, which is a good thing; and I know people were out on vacations at different times, so that added to the delays. But now that our bathroom is remodeled, it looks beautiful, and we're very happy. The crew was punctual and addressed all concerns we had. I would definitely recommend them; just be patient.
