  I went with Harris to replace my heater and AC unit and initially everything went well. Crew dismantled everything, were communicative, and cleaned up. The walkthrough seemed to go well and they were finished about 5pm. I noticed the fan was blowing, which is normal and with starting up a heater you want to circulate the air. 4 hours later, the fan is still blowing and turning the heater mode to off and fan to auto it’s still running… I cycled the settings and waited - no change. Looks like it’s going to run overnight until a tech can come out on Saturday to look at it and after spending all that it’s a bit disappointing, especially if it’s an overlooked setting (and hopefully not a control board relay) since it’s costing me time and electricity.

  We have a leak in our basement coming from the sewer pipe that leads to our septic system. We had temporarily fixed it with toilet wax, but after it started leaking again called Harris to fix our leaking pipe. Colson the tech. Was very personable. He had to remove the wax to help him to see where the leak was. It appears the leak is coming from part of the pipe he can’t see and will need more troubleshooting with a camera, which is scheduled for day after tomorrow. So here’s the part that we have a problem with: I asked what he could do to temporarily to fix it so we can flush our toilets and run water. The answer was that he couldn’t do anything…couldn’t even really suggest anything. So as my husband pointed out after the tech was gone, we paid only to have a diagnosis, and are actually at least a little worse off than before he came. We have had to come up with our own temporary fix again with the help of Home Depot.

  I called Harris Plumbing after I found my toilet running but tank wasn't filling. It's happens every couple of years and is always a quick, cheap repair with other plumbing company I used. The tech and his apprentice arrived within 2 hours of making my appointment request online. They were very nice and professional. After checking out my toilet he offered to check my other 2 toilets. I thought it was odd but he caught me of gaurd and i said ok. Big mistake. He recommended i rebuild the inside of 2 of my toilets. When he walked over to my 3rd toilet i saw where this was going and told him, oh no! That toilet had the same problem 2 years ago, it was fixed and it was fine. He said he needed to go out to his truck for 20 minutes to write up a quote. Came back asking for 950 dollars to rebuild 2 of my toilets. I said no thanks just repair the running toilet. He quote me 443 dollars! That same job was less than 150 two or 3 years ago. I told him i wanted to hold off and get more estimates. He tried to pressure me into agreeing to it by saying he drove all the way out to me from salem. I said no again. Then He dropped the price by 200 dollars to 243. Still to high but i had to pay 70 diagnostic fee if he left without doing the job so i said ok. this company prices are outrageously high. And what's worse is he was trying to charge me to fix a toilet that was working just fine and rebuild a toilet that just needed a quick easy repair. I know he's just doing what he was trained to do but it wasn't right. I don't know how they got so many good reviews on pricing. So I decided to read their lowest reviews that were conveniently pushed all the way to the bottom of their google review page. And there they were. Review after review of people getting grossly overcharged, pressure sales, and techs asking to check other areas of your home (unrelated to your service request) that " might need repairs". There are alot of fake reviews out there and I'm sure many of those good reviews are probably fake to. Things changed for the worst after covid. Alot of these once trust worthy companies turned into scammers. Terrible. The reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is that they techs were very nice and did a good job fixing my toilet. Left my house clean and wore shoe covers. I feel bad writing these reviews but after being ripped off a few times by a plumber I used before them I feel we should help each other out by speaking out so it doesn't happen to someone else.

  The install was fine but the invoice did not show that an EV charger was installed only the parts they provided so the electric company would not accept my application for their EV charging program. When I called customer service they said they would could not help me and would escalate to management who would call me back. Never received a call from them. Additionally, I did not receive any info on a permit being pulled despite their assurance that a permit application would be filed on my behalf. After a month I called again and left a message with the permit department. Again, no call back. Seems like once they get paid they are not interested in servicing the customer unfortunately. For that reason I can not reccomend their services. They were the most expensive quote I received and I went with them based on their grantee that it would be completed by code and permitted. That was not the case and I regret utilizing them for the job.
