  The guys from Woodhyrst came to install a Generac 24KW standby generator. They were very efficient and did a great job. They explained everything at the end. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a standy generator installed.

  I recently had a whole-home 28 kVA Generac generator installed through Home Depot, with Woodhyrst handling the entire process, and this was hands-down the best contractor experience of my life. From the very first conversation with the sales team, everything was professional, transparent, and helpful. They walked me through the options, answered every question thoroughly, and made the whole decision process straightforward and pressure-free. No hard sell—just solid, knowledgeable guidance. The installers from Woodhyrst were truly excellent. They showed up on time, treated the property with complete respect, and worked with a level of skill and professionalism that stood out. Everything was kept clean and organized, communication was clear the entire time, and they took the time to explain exactly what they were doing and what I could expect once the unit was online. You can tell they take real pride in their work. The finished install looks clean and professional, and the 28 kVA Generac has already given me real peace of mind. Overall, this was THE best home improvement projects I’ve ever gone through. Home Depot made the purchasing side easy, and the Woodhyrst installers delivered an outstanding job with real expertise. Highly recommend both if you’re considering a Generac generator. Particular compliments to AJ and Shawn of the install team, they were tremendous at addressing specific issues of my particular install as well as making sure the install was done in an amazingly quick amount of time, they were excellent and I can’t say enough about them.

  Great Folks to work with. They were courteous and thoughtful. The generator works great and they helped me find the most efficient location for it which provided for the least amount of disruption/construction in the home related to running the power and the gas line. We had a bit of a snafu with the project and they made it right without me having to ask. They treat people the right way, the way you would want to be treated and how you would treat others. I would recommend this company and would be happy to work with them again.

  Watched a Woodhyrst truck run over a Canada Goose standing in the road. The truck did not brake, slow down, or make any attempt to avoid the animal, and appeared to intentionally hit it. I would not let this type of person work on anything on my property!

  I assume they're out of business because I can't get a return call to save my life. I called over a month ago and left voicemails with several people about needing service on my generator. No calls back. I sent an email. No reply. I called again 2 weeks ago and someone actually answered, couldn't get me what I needed, but left a message with the person that could and said I would get a call back. I never did. They're either out of business or business is so good that they can ignore some customers. I regret using them.
