  Got told an electrician would be out for an emergency call and would be able to fix it. They show up give me a $5000 estimate and charge me 295 for the visit. Then tell me they can’t do the work until the next day. Then tell me my panel would not pass an inspection so I needed to get that replaced at well with a price tag of 7k. So in total with taxes nearly 13k. I Call another certified electrician and make the choice to go with out power for a few extra days. New estimate informs me my panel will pass with a simple fix for next to nothing. I get a quote for the same job with improved craftsman’s ship, and better lines at a price of 5k. Thomas Edison will price gauge you and rip you off. Shop local it’s worth it… disgusting they can get away with this.

  Thomas Edison Electric and Jason Q. were great!! Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and took care of my issues 2 days ahead of my originally scheduled appointment (due to a cancellation). I also received a follow up call right after to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. It is not too often these days that you deal with a company and talk only to people who care that they provide a great service. I would definitely recommend this company…THANK YOU!

  The electrician that came out was polite and competent. We found out the hard way, my walls are very solid. He stayed professional through what I'm sure was a trying task. Plus they guarantee their work for a year.
