My review took some time as I needed to process why Pinnacle had so many good ratings when my job was more of a negative experience. I don’t write bad reviews as I have my own small business and instead choose to contact a company who I feel has failed me. I spoke to Eric and Dave and wrote a letter about my thoughts and Pinnacle chose to ignore me. This is what upsets me more than anything else and is why I am writing this review. When I spoke with Eric and Dave about my missing large wood chandelier, the first words spoken from them were someone in my family could have moved it? Seriously? Eric offered me $150 for a chandelier that was 2 years old at a cost of $450 for something they either stole or threw away. My stonewall was hit and damaged and again, first words were “do you have a camera, could have been anyone.” Fortunately, they had an honest subcontractor who fessed up after I told them my neighbor saw them trying to replace moved stone. When I pointed out paint on my preexisting beams in the kitchen, I was told it could be from old paint when the beams and ceiling were original, and the ceiling had never been painted until Pinnacle did the remodel. Not ordering the door as Eric and I had discussed created a whole new delay. Now I was having work done at the convenience of Pinnacle. I had a simple kitchen redo, same floor plan, and a mud room that was opened. 6 Months later they finally finished. I was very preoccupied with some real tragedies in my family and was traveling constantly. I felt Eric nor Dave had my back, but they sure did have my money. Last complaint is the big one. Eric got the wrong granite. He will insist he did not, but learned lesson, take a photo. There is no way he could have mistaken royal blue for green. I made a huge deal out of that granite and there was a conversation around it matching our blue cabinets perfectly. He will claim he was correct, but green highlights are not at all what we had chosen. He claimed the color would change a bit out of sunlight, but I have a hard time believing a royal blue turns to a light green. This was incredibly disappointing. Good points: Their cabinet maker is amazing. They are beautiful along with the new flooring, open mudroom, new windows, sliding glass door and lighted ceiling. The talent and grace from the contractors working in my home was superior. For that I am grateful. I would not, however, recommend Pinnacle for your next remodel.

Pinnacle is the best! We had an excellent experience with them when they built our sunroom two years earlier. Recently, we had a small problem with the room and I reached out to Pinnacle to see if they could help. The very next day after I notified them of the issue, they were out to fix it. Cannot tell you how reassuring it is to work with a firm that stands behind their work and does not disappear after they cash the check.

I had the distinct pleasure of having Pinnacle Building and Design, finish my basement in 2019. I had been following their work since 2011 after seeing their display at the 2011 Home Show in Oaks, PA. Their work is impeccable and the level of professionalism is set them apart of others designers. They pay very close attention to what I wanted and came up with an awesome design. I’m am extremely satisfied with my basement and couldn’t believe the turn around time for completion. The job started 04Nov19 and was completed on 24Dec19 (Christmas eve), just in time to celebrate the new basement for the holidays. I recommend their services and will definitely use them for my next project.
