  Total waste of time. Hid the fact that there is a $100 deposit and made a chaotic experience more chaotic. I called two times and spoke to three different employees who all told me that someone could come out to my house to estimate my job and each said “all you have to do is come in to pick out the items.” Well, after I took off work, drove in, and picked the items, gave my information, they say they’ll reach out with some information. I asked “okay, but when can the person come out to my house to estimate the job?” That’s when they tell me that I would need to put down $100 deposit. Well, I understand a business having to protect their employees time, you can imagine how this concept of a deposit is an impossibility for a customer who has had water or fire damage and is waiting for a claim to come through. Businesses should be up front about these things. Maybe I would have come in anyway if they were just up front about it. When I pointed out the missing/misleading information, the sales person indignantly asked me who I spoke to. If 3 different employees avoid telling customers this then it’s a training issue, not an individual issue. Don’t make me have to figure out which of your employees you neglected to train well. Thanks for making a flood damage situation more challenging and costing me time when I could have gotten an estimate from a company that wants my business. Now I’m one day further from repairing my house.

  Honestly dont know why I keep going back. Wrong parts shipped to me. Damaged tile sent to me. Incorrect square footage shipped to me then I have my contractor whos 75% through a job and says “you dont even have enough tile”. Just unprofessional and prices arent even that good.

  Avalon Flooring did our bathroom shower remodel and we’re very happy with how it turned out. Bruno did most of the work and did a great job. They took the old shower all the way down to bare studs and subfloor, then put up new backing and sealed everything before tiling. That kind of prep isn’t something you see once it’s finished, but it’s what makes a shower last, and I appreciated that they didn’t cut corners. Avalon coordinated the glass, which New Jersey Glass made and installed. That part didn’t go perfectly, but it all got sorted out and the doors look great. My one surprise: I expected the job to be ready for paint when they left, but the drywall around the shower still needed repair, and I had to find and manage a drywall person myself. If you’re getting a similar job done, ask up front whether drywall finishing is included. Pricing was good. Our salesperson told us about an upcoming sale, so we waited for it and got a good deal on the tile and installation. Overall, a quality job, and I’d recommend them.

  We had a wonderful experience working with Yiannis while selecting tiles and materials for our home project. From our very first visit, Yiannis was welcoming and attentive, took the time to understand our project and what we were looking for, and made us feel very comfortable. Yiannis was extremely helpful with the material selection and helped us visualize what would work well together. He offered great suggestions and guided us through the different options without ever being pushy or overwhelming. He was also very accommodating with our appointments and consistently followed up with us throughout the process. We especially appreciated the time and effort he put into helping us find the right materials suited for our needs. He was patient, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire process. We are very happy with our experience and would highly recommend Yiannis to anyone looking for help with their home project!
