Excellent service from Kenny and Suburban Water Technology! Kenny did a fantastic job installing our water softener and water service. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly, including all the information we needed to operate and maintain the system. The work was completed efficiently and on time. Great job, Kenny! Highly recommend Suburban Water Technology for their excellent service and professionalism.

I've used Suburban Water Technology twice now for water softeners - in my previous home and now my new home. Both times I have been pleased with install and service. Today I had Kenny and he was fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable and thorough.

Kenny was here and did a fantastic job. He was extremely informative about the job, relayed the information clearly and concisely. Kenny installed my whole-house filter, water softener and well water holding tank beautifully. The entire setup is clean, organized and thoughtfully laid out - nothing crammed, crooked or sloppy. You can tell he takes real pride in his work. He also went above and beyond by laying down tarps to protect my floors while he worked. That level of care and professionalism is hard to find. I’m genuinely impressed and highly recommend him to anyone needing well water or filtration work done. I am highly satisfied with the job he did.

WARNING — Be Very Careful When Dealing With Suburban Water Technology, Inc. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Suburban Water Technology, Inc., and I strongly recommend that consumers do their research before doing business with this company. First, we were supposed to receive a 10% discount for the service, but that discount was never provided. More seriously, one of their technicians attempted to charge us approximately $800 for a pressure-reduction valve, even though our system already clearly has a pressure-reduction valve installed. This immediately raised serious concerns for us about what work was actually being recommended and why. My wife called the company to try to understand what was going on and speak with someone about the situation. According to her, the representative did not meaningfully address her concerns and ultimately hung up on her. I called back and spoke with an individual named Dan, who told us that management had instructed the staff not to speak with us anymore. That type of customer-service response is extremely concerning. Consumers deserve clear explanations, documentation of recommended repairs, and an opportunity to question charges—especially when a significant repair is being proposed for equipment that already appears to be present. I also have serious concerns about the service that was performed on our water softener. After looking into the system myself, I questioned whether the necessary maintenance had actually been performed properly. The softener was not adequately stocked with salt, and I ultimately had to fill it myself. What concerns me most is the potential impact on elderly customers or other consumers who may simply trust a recommended vendor and assume that everything being recommended is necessary. A customer should not have to be an expert in water-softening equipment to feel confident that they are receiving honest and properly documented service. I am documenting my experience and intend to pursue the appropriate consumer-protection channels, including contacting the state Attorney General’s Office, if necessary, so that the circumstances can be reviewed. My advice to anyone considering a water- softener or water-treatment service: do your research, get a second opinion, ask for detailed written documentation of any recommended repairs, and make sure you understand exactly what you are being charged for before authorizing work. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Suburban Water Technology, Inc.

I strongly recommend staying away from this vendor. We had a water softener service scheduled through this company, and our experience was absolutely unacceptable. First, their technician came into our home and tried to upsell us on a pressure-reducing valve—even though we already had one installed. That immediately raised concerns about whether we were being given honest recommendations. We then contacted another professional to inspect the system and determine what service had actually been performed. According to that inspection, the water softener had not been serviced at all. The only thing this company apparently did was drop off a bag of salt—and they didn’t even put the salt into the machine. We were also supposed to receive a 10% discount, which was not provided. When my wife called the company to address the situation, the person who answered reportedly laughed at her and hung up. When I called back and explained the situation to another representative, I was told that management had instructed them not to deal with us. That is not how a legitimate, professional company should treat paying customers. Based on our experience, I have serious concerns about the quality of their service, their sales practices, and their customer service. I will also be contacting Costco to make them aware of our experience because this company is being presented to Costco customers as a service provider. Do yourself a favor and research this company carefully before allowing them into your home. Based on our experience, I would not recommend them to anyone.
