  Unreliable service, hidden fees, and poor communication. I strongly advise against using Mann Heating and Plumbing. This company has gone downhill, and I no longer find them trustworthy. I originally hired them to install a central AC unit, purchasing a 10-year extended warranty for both parts and labor. Early this summer, the unit had its first issue. I scheduled a service call, fully understanding there would be a diagnostic fee. The technician replaced a capacitor, fixed the issue, and I paid the diagnostic fee on the spot. A week later, I received a bill for the "installation" of the capacitor. When I called to ask why I was billed under a full parts-and-labor warranty, the representative insisted I wasn’t being charged for labor—just a "fee to install the part." Despite the obvious contradiction, she refused to back down. After consulting with other HVAC professionals who confirmed this charge was bogus, a professional contact reached out to management on my behalf, and the fee was suddenly removed. A manager called it an "honest mistake," so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and didn't leave a negative review at the time. Fast forward a few months: I scheduled an AC cleaning. I took time off work to accommodate their mandatory 2-hour window (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM). I received a reminder email warning me about their strict 24-hour cancellation fee, so I made sure I was home on time. By 2:00 PM, no one had arrived. I called the office and was told the technician was "minutes away." By 2:40 PM—100 minutes late and with still no sign of a technician—I called back to cancel so I could get on with my day and avoid any unfair no-show charges. After their initial "mistake" with my warranty, I expected Mann Heating and Plumbing to make an effort to provide good service. Instead, they showed zero respect for my time or customer loyalty. The negative reviews on Yelp are accurate—do not trust this company. Unfortunately, I am locked into them for warranty work, but I have already hired a much more reputable, professional company for everything else. Proceed with extreme caution.

  They were able to schedule my Furnace cleaning/maintenance very quickly at a very busy time of the year. Bill was my technician. He was professional, polite and very efficient. Highly recommend

  Came on time. Did what was requested. Charged me travel time to get the part they needed as they did not bring it even when I advised them ahead of time (out side hose bib) . New pipe leaked and they came back and fixed. The tech did not put a cut off on new pipe per code. Had to pay someone else to fix. Charged money to use a clamp tool since they used pex instead of sweating. Connected new smart thermostat as requested.

  We're very happy with the service on our HVAC by Mann. We purchased the system from them in 2019. It's been operating great. Recently it was serviced by their technician Dave. He did a great job in explaining how to keep it operating efficiently and to have it serviced yearly. It's been a trouble free unit.
