  I've had Jeff out to my home on multiple occasions. 1) He has always been able to make it out much sooner than I expect, always given me a heads-up before he arrives, and has never been late. 2)No nonsense or ambiguity. I explained what I wanted, he explained what would be needed, and he gave me a quote. He came back the next day and did the work. 3) He does solid work. Neat, tidy, and well finished. Really efficient, too.

  Jeff was able to come to my home on an emergency call on a Sunday. He was on time and was able to diagnose the problem and fix it in no time. I am very appreciative on the service he provided for me which was the outside meter with the wires melting and he was able to bring it back brand new and in code. I highly recommend his service great price and knows what he is doing.

  I moved to an older home last year and have benefited from Jeffrey’s expertise multiple times . He and Will have assembled and installed a ceiling fan which was tricky to wire as it was in an addition without direct attic access. He also installed 4 ceiling lights and the switch in that same room and all are working perfectly. He assembled and installed a dining room chandelier, hallway light, and changed out multiple fluorescent light tubes for LED. He responds quickly to requests and is often able to schedule within a few days. His cost is reasonable and he cleans up the space well before he is done. I will continue to call him first when I need an electrician.

  Couldn’t be happier with our experience with Porter Electric. After a quick and easy conversation through their online portal, they were able to get our project taken care of within 48 hours of submitting the initial inquiry. They installed two exterior lights for us, including a motion light, and did a great job. My wife is 9 months pregnant and was the one home when they came out, and she couldn’t say enough about how pleasant, professional, and easy to deal with they were. Everything came out exactly how we wanted. Great communication, quick turnaround, and excellent service. We’ll definitely be using Porter Electric again for any future electrical work. Highly recommend!
