  Last year we had all of our windows replaced and installed by Roofing By Bruce. We knew exactly what we wanted. We worked with Mario who was such a pleasure to work with. He made suggestions and helped us with the final trim decisions. I waited a year to write this review as I wanted to be sure I was as happy now as I was when they were installed. The price was more than reasonable for the quality windows we chose. Even a couple of small changes while they were being installed that we decided to make was not a big deal for them to do. Austin kept us updated on the order and the scheduling. I highly recommend them. One of our biggest reasons for choosing them was the length of time they have been doing business in our community.

  My experience with Mario from Roofing by Bruce was incredibly frustrating, marked by unresponsiveness, aggressive upselling, and exorbitant pricing. ​During his first visit to quote a siding replacement, he seemed completely disinterested in the job I actually requested to assess. Instead of providing a proper estimate, he threw out a baseless figure of "$100k+" for the siding and immediately shifted his focus to my stone chimney, which I hadn't asked him to look at. He left without providing a quote for either project and ignored my follow-up texts. ​Sometime later, I was looking for masons to repair two completely different block chimneys. I accidentally contacted Roofing by Bruce again, and Mario showed up for a second time. Once again, he ignored the work I requested—replacing the top blocks and capping the two block chimneys—and immediately went back to upselling a massive repointing job on the stone chimney. My stone chimney has already been repointed, but when I asked for a simple crack repair and cap, he dismissed the idea entirely to push his agenda. ​He clearly cherry-picks high-margin jobs that generate the most money for the least effort. His pricing reflects this: he quoted over $12,000 to chip out the parge coat and repoint the stone chimney, which included an $800 scaffolding fee (a scissor lift rental is only $300/week). For the block chimneys, he quoted $1,150 to replace one block and cap, and $1,890 to replace three blocks on the other. For context, another mason quoted me 50% to repair both block chimneys. ​Between the ridiculous pricing, the refusal to listen to what the customer actually wants, and a salesman who acted like he hated being there, there is zero value here. I highly recommend looking elsewhere and getting multiple quotes.

  A Technician serviced our chimney I believe his name was Austin, he was on time and professional, did a great job, my husband needed some info about our gutters he was honest as we could not get a straight answer from the other companies we reached out to without there first response to our inquiries was “everything must be replaced “immediately” at an extremely high cost”.happy we got a second opinion, we will definitely use this company again!

  Bruce and his crew installed 4 replacement and 1 new skylights at my home, after taking careful specifications and quoting a firm price. The skylights are as advertised and make a big difference, as we had hoped. The service was professional, friendly, and courteous. The work was done expeditiously. I especially want to commend the cleanup, which was done thoroughly and conscientiously. I would not hesitate to use Bruce’s services again.
