  I will say the I am happy with the end product. I got roofing and siding and both look great. But I had to deal with communication issues from the project manager, the salesman not including stuff he promised in the contract and having to fight for them. Now been waiting 5 weeks for them to get the rest of their material out of my front lawn. Texted the project manager last week and still nothing. Work was done good but the relationship with the company is a bit unreliable

  Excellent work, very affordable, poor communication. I found Home Genius through Angie's list for the replacement of a section of roof on a sunroom addon the previous owner has installed incorrectly. I first scheduled an inspection and estimate with Shay Coccia, he was very amicable and knowledgeable about what repairs needed to be done and made sure I understood everything that Home Genius would do and was able to show me the materials they would use for my roof. Other companies I had estimates with wanted to expand the project to the entire house but Shay stayed on topic with just my side room. My project manager was Jake but I did not know who any of the workers were because nobody communicated with me about who would be showing up, what they looked like, and gave no specific arrival times on the day of the project. The people who did show up didn't even knock on my door to talk to me before starting work. I am happy with the results, not happy about the lack of communication.

  Terrible company. Made an appointment for a rental house in Fox Lake. After making the appointment I received a text stating they need 90 minutes of my time. That was my first red flag. 90 minutes… in my mind they need to take measurements, show me options and give me a quote. I had made it very clear I would not be making any decisions as I want to get at least three quotes. Then, on my drive there, I get a call. The lady says my spouse needs to be present. I sure her, that this is a business. I will not need financing. I will not be making a decision today and my wife does not need to be present. She insist that she does. Now I’m feeling the TIMESHARE vibe. So I pause the woman again and explain again the situation. She goes right back to script about how this is a big decision we will need to live with for the next 15 to 30 years. I stop her again. It isn’t… this is. A rental. She says is there a better time for my wife and I to meet her? At this point I know this is not only a company I can not, no not and will not ever work with, it is also a company I will warn others not to work with as they will attempt to hard sell you with unethical tactics and high pressure. Stay away!

  I am a U S Disabled Army Veteran, 100 percent service connected, looking for help on cost of replacing my roof. This company used the guise of Owens Corning giving discounts to veterans in order to obtain my info and I thought they were legit until the salesman showed up. He told me numerous lies that I can prove and have recordings to prove so. The price he told me was the price for a new home, not for the cost of replacing my roof. It was ungodly the amount he was asking to replace my roof, a true con artist. I will say he was a master in his trade of being one of the best con artist I have came across in a very long time. I have seizures from my ptsd n thankfully my spouse kept me from having one today, that is how bad that salesman upset me.

  My roof project was completed only 2 weeks after contracting with Home Genius. Materials arrived on site 2 days. The weather delayed installation but the project Max squeezed the install between very bad storms. He provided step by step aerial photos while I was at work . I have replaced 5 roofs in Colorado, and this one in PA. Hands down , this is the best. From the young sales rep at the Fair, to JR the estimator/inspection, Max the project manager and the crew , everyone exceeded my expectations. This is not only a roof install, it's an engineered roof solution with the proper modern methods and materials. After the install, I mowed my lawn and didn't find a Single nail! For those with small children or pets , I think this is remarkable. The final result photo speaks volumes,,,a roof done right and pleasing curb appeal.
