- LSLuka Stratimirovic4 days ago1.0Be cautious Door salesman knocked on door, was interested from reviews,25 percent off project, 50 percent off material, was told free quote would take hour and a half Day of free quote comes, 4 hours he was at the house I had to leave for work but my wife stayed, was told since the salesman no pressure feel free to look around, but when I tried to leave for work I was told discount was only valid for same day deal. I was told I would be given scope of work, details of everything we talked about, which would not be possible to get hashed out at 6pm Scare tactics and urgency was used closer to the end of the quote(I would say moreso 4 hours of casual conversation and jargon, no scope of work, no materials to look at, colors to pick from etc) I have received quotes from others beforehand since coincidentally I am looking to replace my roof, they were all much more time efficient, detail oriented, and out of 3 other quotes the highest of them came 4k below these home genius interior quote after the 25 percent promotional discount or 16k below these original quote of 47k

- SWStacey WeberJul 31, 20263.0Home Genius gave me a really well-made roof. They reconfigured the original structure and added vents so moisture doesn't build up under the shingles. It looks really nice. They could have sold me a more expensive, metal roof, but after inspection, they determined the shingled roof would better serve my needs, saving me thousands of dollars. The timeline was completely ignored. They didn't start until two days after they should have, and the entire process took seven days instead of the promised three. They put tarps around the house to catch nails and old shingles, but they were totally ineffective, and I'm still finding nails in the yard. In addition, the flower gardens around the house were entirely crushed. The roof is wonderful. The process was horrifying.
