  I used Novak Roofing for my roof replacement and had a great experience from start to finish. Communication was excellent, and the job was completed incredibly quickly without sacrificing quality. Ed and Tina were wonderful to work with—professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. I would 100% recommend this company.

  This company has been an absolute nightmare to work with. I contracted them over a year ago to remove and install a new roof and gutters. They sold me hopes and dreams regarding their warranties and workmanship but as soon as they were paid in full (before all the work was completed correctly) they simply will not return to complete the job. I even had to have someone else do the gutter installation for me. I have 14 pages of emails containing photos to documents our correspondence regarding the workmanship and clear visible defects in the roof which they have acknowledged but have yet to repair. From the two individuals who put their feet through my BRAND NEW CEILING IN TWO SEPERATE ROOMS to the flat roof in the back of my home that has several waves and wrinkles in it, this has been one of the most disheartening renovation experiences EVER!

  I called this company to repair a crease in my ceiling because I heard so many good things about them! They came out to look and told me no because they couldn’t guarantee that the ceiling wouldn’t crack again. I said ok I trust you on that. Can you also give me an estimate on redoing my kitchen cabinets and new countertops and backsplash. He took measurements and said just have home depot measure as well and I’ll come do the work. The next day he calls and says I met with our office managers and we can’t do your job!! Why? We don’t feel we can do the best job! I thought you did kitchens? I wonder if they turned the job down because they just didn’t like how we looked?? I certainly would NOT recommend this company that states in their ad and from other customers they do kitchens but then tells us they don’t feel comfortable!! What!!

  I had an appointment scheduled for a little over a week, the day of my appointment I never received a call or anything, finally after 2 hours of trying to get in touch they finally tell me “the guy completely forgot about the appointment.” Wouldn’t recommend them at all!!

  I, too, was approached regarding the hail storm and was lucky enough to have the majority of my roof and siding replaced and paid for by my homeowners insurance. I received a quote in May of 2015 and approved the work. It took weeks for them to show up for the roof work onLY after continuous follow up by me as to when they would start the work. In July, I received a final invoice and completion of work notice BUT the work was not done. They never came back to do the siding, shutters and gutters. They didn't show up until the end of august to finish the job and with no notice they were even coming. Also there was some work that the insurance company would not pay for but the township required. I had received a notice from my current homeowners insurance that I needed to provide them with proof the roof was replaced or I would be dropped at the end of the contract year (which I was because they wouldnt provide me with the documentation I kept requesting). From the time the work was completed up until November I called continuously requesting an itemized invoice of the work and what was owed and paid so I could supply that to my insurance company. After never receiving the paperwork I finally gave up. I tried numerous times to pay what I owed but did not have a final invoice of that. Now, it's the end of march and they have the nerve to contact me that they will be coming to my house to pick up a check. They were paid almost completely in full (over $4500) at the beginning of the job except for my $500 deductible. I was not able to return their call about coming for payment so they called me the very next day threatening me. I'm floored at this behavior since I tried for months to make final payment and that THEY let this go for so long. When I finally called them back I asked why this has taken so long I was told they just have so many files and they are just now getting back to me. Seriously? SO once again I asked for an itemized bill and they have basically refused. Today I receive a letter in the mail stating the amount of the job and what was paid...that's their idea of itemization. On the letter it says I have basically a week to pay in full or they are going to the magistrate to put a lien against my property. This has been the worst experience I have ever had. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The way they do business is a disgrace! Their behavior in this matter just makes me think they are in financial trouble. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
