  After being scheduled and canceled two times in a row, I finally had the technician come out. Check the air conditioner by the way. It's July and I tried to schedule this in April. They promised to send me what they did via email. This is not the first time I did not get it and I'm not happy about being rescheduled three times and they expected me to take off work for this. The technician was very courteous.

  Poor Service Call, will be contacting for partial refund. Was to be same day for AC breakdown, but due to busy holiday schedule was next day, so I waited 24 hours for service. Technician identified problem to be capacitor in outside heat pump. He offered to replace capacitor for $400 and to add a "hard wire" backup for an additional $400. I stated only the capacitor, but that the capacitor is about a $20 part. Technician stated "not here". No written estimate was provided or signed, I assumed it would be $400 plus dispatch fee, which in my opinion was too high. So after the 5 minute installation, we go to settle the bill. Technician says it will be $594.66. I stated how did we get from $400 to $594? He said that the cost of the capicitor is $468.00, the dispatch fee of $93 plus tax. So I was charged $468 for a $20 part with 5 minute install, that is a 2,340% markup. Technician would not offer any means of relief to the bill. Misleading quote and high fee, yes I got ripped off. Do not recommend.

  I have worked with Custom Aire in one way or another for the past 25 years. There was a spell I was using another one man operation as he was the installer of our units. I have since returned to working with them and I could not be happier. They are a soup to nuts HVAC company. I doubt anyone could be unsatisfied with their operation.

  Competent technicians. Obviously, not enough of them. I was scheduled for a PM in mid-May (on an annual service contract). They canceled as there were a lot of emergency calls over a weekend. Got reschedule for June 15 - early appointment. NO SHOW. I called in the morning to remind them that I was canceled a month before. NO ONE SHOWED UP; no phone calls either. I had to call them and ask where the technician was at 12:30 PM. "Oh sorry, there was an emergency and one of our technicians called out sick" (same explanation I was given the month before as an FYI AND in the fall for a PM on the furnace). They squeezed in an appointment for me 4 days later - a Noon to 4PM window. Again, I was supposed to be the first person serviced in that time window. NOPE. Technician showed up at 04:30PM. Hmmm..... An unhappy customer here. They've been servicing our home for about 20 years too.

  Excellent service, extremely professional and highly competent team. Our Air conditioning unit was not working, we called custom aire who quickly diagnosed the issue and had our unit up and running again in a few days. Highly recommend!!
