  The two gentlemen that did the install were wonderful. Very friendly and polite, very careful with tracking anything in and out of my house by using booties on and off. They cleaned up better than it was before they did the install. Also, Ruben that came out to give me a quote was very kind and really worked with me. Wonderful company. Thanks!

  Custom Aire installed an Amana HVAC system for me in December 2025. It was one of their highest-end systems and qualified for a $2K federal tax credit. I selected them for the 10yr, parts & labor warranty. In April, when I turned on my AC for the first time, it did not work and my thermostat gave me a warning message which said to call the dealer. When I called Custom Aire, I was told there would be a $70 truck roll fee! When they came out, it was determined that they didn't tighten something during the install and the unit was leaking coolant. After 2 tech visits, it was working and I was ultimately not charged the $70. Since then, I hear a lot of dripping in my ducts and there is a small pool of water at the base of my indoor unit. They came out and said everything is working fine! In August (today), when I returned from a weekend away, my AC was not working and again, the thermostat gave me an error message. I called Custom Aire and did a lot of troubleshooting with a tech over the phone, only to determine that they need to come out but they don't do warranty service on weekends. I asked for a manager to call and explain why they cannot come out to service a unit which is 6 months old, but Derek had the technician deliver this bad news. To be clear, all the technicians have been nice and professional but I am sitting in a 83 degree house and regretting my Custom Aire purchase!

  Andrew Johnson arrived and assessed the problem with our AC. He was kind enough to explain in detail the problem with our system. We were advised a second visit was required to make temporary repairs until the needed parts arrive. He took time to locate the part for our older AC saving us thousands, thank you!! I highly recommend Custom Aire and if you are lucky you get Andrew Johnson as your serviceman. Thank you!!

  This service was adequate. The personnel were polite but obviously pressed for time. My complaints are: 1) They left some of their tools - pliers and a brush. 2) They were asked to clean the dryer vent pipe and dryer vent and to replace the dryer vent exterior cover to prevent birds nesting in the vent opening and pipe. 2A) They did not do the cleaning of the dryer vent properly. Upon using the dryer for the very first time, a bird's nest appeared in the dryer vent opening and cover. 2B) The dryer vent cover that they installed blocked the removal of the bird's nest they left in the dryer vent pipe. Overall, this service call to do HVAC and dryer duct cleaning was expensive .
