Charged over $2000 in materials and labor and left with the tankless water heat unit completely unusable and worse than it was before they came. Installed a pump, a defective gauge, apparently a used valve with a stripped clean out cap, failed to repair the exhaust properly, pretty much just guessing the issue with the unit by throwing in-needed parts at it over multiple visits. Eventually unit was completely ruined by freezing since they never returned to repair it before the cold weather arrived. Horrendous workmanship and lack of professionalism, then demanded immediate payment without repairing anything, just ruining the entire unit!

Great and reasonably priced service. Replacing 30 year old air conditioner with new comparable unit for approximately 2.5 x the price of repairing the outdated unit. Highly recommend them and Josh was great.
Frequently Asked Questions About Johnson's Heating & Cooling, LLC
How often should I have my HVAC system serviced?
Annual maintenance is recommended for your HVAC system by industry experts. For best results, schedule an air conditioning inspection in spring and a heating system check in autumn. This regular maintenance improves system efficiency, extends equipment lifespan, and reduces the risk of unexpected breakdowns.
How can I improve my home's indoor air quality with my HVAC system?
To enhance indoor air quality using your HVAC system, consistently replace filters, keep ductwork clean, and use high-efficiency filters. Consider adding components like air purifiers, UV lights, or humidifiers. Proper ventilation is also essential for maintaining healthy indoor air.
Are whole-house humidifiers worth it?
If you experience dry skin, chapped lips, or nasal congestion, low humidity may be the cause. A whole-house humidifier can effectively improve your air quality and alleviate these issues.
Why is airflow from my vents weak or uneven?
Weak or uneven airflow from vents can be caused by various issues, including dirty filters, blocked vents, duct leaks, or blower motor problems. To ensure proper airflow in your home, it's essential to change filters regularly and have ducts inspected periodically.
Why is my thermostat blank?
A blank thermostat display often indicates that the batteries need replacement. Installing new batteries is typically the first step in resolving this issue.
Why should I replace my R-22 outdoor unit with the new R-454B?
R-22 refrigerant and associated equipment have been phased out. Replacement components and refrigerants for older R-22 units are becoming scarce and more expensive. Upgrading to an R-454B unit now can help you avoid potential difficulties and costs in the future.
How long does a furnace or AC last?
Furnaces and air conditioning systems typically last between 18 to 20 years on average. However, factors such as maintenance, usage patterns, and system type or brand can affect their lifespan. Regular maintenance and timely repairs can help maximize your HVAC system's performance and longevity.
