  Wish I had found them sooner! Our porch suffered some storm damage and we must have called 10-15 different contractors in the days following. We got a different story from each contractor: the wind knocked the column loose, the foundation was sinking or crumbling, or the porch had to come down entirely and be rebuilt. We got estimates anywhere from $2500 to $20,000, and those were just the few who even bothered to call us back. this went on for months before Carol saved the day and contacted me after I put in a request via Thumbtack. Mike was there the next day, assessed the damage, and gave a fair estimate. Within days, the porch was repaired. Mike and his team were punctual, courteous, and clean. Carol and Mike were both responsive and couldn't have been more professional. We'll definitely be calling them for future needs.

  Mike and Carol deliver prompt response to inquiries about carpentry projects. Within 24 hours Mike will evaluate thoroughly your problem and recommend how he can correct your issue. Carol will send a professional cost estimate within 48 hours of Mike's appraisal. Carol is courteous on the phone as well as in e-mail communications. Within 7 days from first contact until the final cleanup, Mike and Carol's company replaced my rotting porch support poles and saved further serious damage to my 140 year old Victorian porch I will always call C&M Gage Construction for prompt, durable, and affordable repairs.

  We had a retaining wall done by Mike. He is very detail oriented. I was having trouble deciding exactly how I wanted it and he gave us great design ideas that we hadn't thought about. He and his crew did a wonderful job. I would recommend and use them again when I need something done.
