Kenny (the tech who showed up to do an evaluation of what was needed) was very courteous and professional. He showed up on time and was able to explain everything that was needed in a manner that was easily understandable.
The installation team was just here and did a very good and professional job. Earl and his assistant were very nice and for the job (how noisy changing an ac system is) were very quiet. I hardly knew they were here and now the ax works way better than the old one

Everything about our diagnostic appointment was beyond 100% satisfaction. They had the lowest diagnostic fee of all of the other local companies I spoke to and they offer Saturday appointments, which was super helpful.
I got a text alert when Eric P was on the way with a picture and small bio to give me information on the person visiting our home. Eric was a rockstar when he arrived and completed the diagnosis. He was extremely thorough, professional, and personable. He gave me technical explanations but then he also explained it all in everyday terms that were easy for me to understand rather than only using a bunch of technical terminology. He presented multiple solutions for our problems with different price options, but nothing felt high pressure which was reassuring. We will be using Sky for this repair and they will be our first call on any other issues moving forward. The overall service experience from my first phone call all the way to the diagnostic visit was excellent, but Eric’s performance really solidified Sky earning my family’s business and future loyalty.

I purchased a mini-split from Sky Heating in 2019 for the upstairs portion of my home, which I run as an active Airbnb. When it stopped cooling, I called them expecting reliable service since I bought the unit from them. Instead, I experienced a three-week nightmare of misdiagnoses, missing technicians, and non-existent customer service that ultimately cost me $1,150 in canceled bookings.
Here is the timeline of their complete failure:
May 27: A technician came out but never spoke to me. He diagnosed a valve issue and ordered a part. I later found out he quit that same day, which was Sky’s excuse for why nobody followed up with me or explained the diagnosis.
June 3: A technician spent 8 hours trying to install the part but failed to fix the unit. I was told he would return the next day. He never showed up, claiming the original diagnosis was wrong.
June 5 & June 10: Technicians returned for more diagnostics.
On June 10, the tech blamed the compressor, admitted Sky didn't even own the proper tool to perform the necessary valve test, and said he had to go track one down. He then claimed a different valve was the issue and ordered a part from Texas with a 7–10 day ETA.
The Following Week: I called every single day begging for updates. Customer service repeatedly brushed me off, telling me "they don't provide updates" and "there's no one at the factory to talk to." "We called and didn't hear back." They clearly have poor relationships with their vendors and after having worked with them, it's not surprise why.
On June 16, I called at 7:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 2:30 PM. Nobody ever returned my calls; I only got through at 2:30 PM because I refused to hang up.June 18: Fed up, I called a different HVAC company. They came out the exact same day, diagnosed the issue in minutes, and fixed the unit completely in just 2 hours. It was never a valve issue.
After requesting daily updates and receiving only one text message, I called Sky again. The phantom part still hadn’t even shipped. I officially canceled my service.Sky Heating showed a complete lack of basic HVAC competency and an appalling disregard for customer service. I had to fight just to get anyone to speak to me, all while losing substantial business revenue because of their errors. Avoid this company at all costs if you value your time, money, and sanity.

I have had a service contract with Skye heating AC and plumbing for several years. They are now telling me even though I am paying on a monthly basis for this contract that they can no longer come to do the service. They would be happy to evaluate my air-conditioning after summer is over. Ridiculous company can find time to take the money for the contract that cannot honor the contract and do the service. I am strongly recommending people stay away from this company. I would not recommend it under any circumstances. I am giving it a one star review and would give it less if that was an option. Many other companies out there providing better service.
