TLDR: Do not ignore the bad reviews. You get what you pay for. Top Flight will get the main job done quickly and for cheap, but the follow up and finishing touches leave much to be desired.
I will start with the good, because I like to give credit where credit is due:
-The roof was replaced quickly and ahead of schedule, which was great.
-The cost was significantly cheaper than the other quotes I received for a similar scope of work.
No onto the bad:
-Eddie ran his trailer into our retaining wall while trying to get it up our driveway. Mistakes happen, totally understandable especially with how tight our driveway is. We had to bring it to his attention in order to work on a resolution, he did not notify us that he made a mistake. He said he was willing to give us a discount on our remaining deposit for the roof for the cost it would be to repair the retaining wall. We agreed to that, but when it came time to pay, he said I needed to pay the full remaining amount to keep his book keeping tidy and he would drop off an envelope of cash for the damage. Once he got his money, however, it was like pulling teeth to get him to respond and pay up. My patience finally ran thin and I demanded a Venmo from him for the cash, which he finally did after a few BS excuses.
-Eddie seemingly subcontracts out everything, and when it came to the gutters, that took a few weeks to complete post roof replacement. Again, giving credit where credit is due, we needed to add fascia boards so his gutter guy could warranty his work. We did that, and most of the gutters got replaced. When Eddie quoted the job, we communicated where we wanted to add downspouts and additional gutters, all of which he was aware and quoted us accordingly. When his guy came back out to finish the missing downspouts and gutters, he then tried charging me more than what I was quoted and said Eddie approved it and explicitly communicated the additional cost to me. That was not true.
-It took Eddie a couple weeks after the roof was compete to pick up the trailer in front of our house. This made our house a target and unfortunately someone broke into the home using a ladder they left on the side of our house as a result. They got up on the roof, broke a window to get inside, and stole a roof vent that Eddie offered to replace, which is kind because he certainly doesn't have to, but he has since ghosted me and continues to string me along with no resolution. It has now been over 2 months. I have been following up for weeks now, and he continues to dangle the carrot and push me off. I am at my wits end, so here we are writing this review.
-Lastly, the cleanup on site was almost nonexistent. Each time Eddie came back out to the house, he said he would have his guys come back through and do a final sweep to get any remaining nails/screws/shingles cleaned up. Over 2 months later, we still have massive nails in our driveway, backyard, side yard, as well as shingle scraps everywhere. I am not expecting perfection, but leaving massive nails everywhere is simply unacceptable.
I wish I did not have to write this review, because I was initially impressed with the speed and quality of work for the price I paid. Unfortunately, the cons keep out weighing the pros, and since I have yet to reach a final resolution from Eddie I feel the need to warn others looking to work with him. If my remaining issues get resolved and they finally clean up the remainder of their mess, I would be happy to amend my review. I doubt that will happen.
EDIT 6/18/26:
Eddie has his crew out to replace the vent cap/magnet sweep the property for nails. He apologized that his team let this slip through the cracks and recognized that it is not an excuse. He also said that he's made "significant improvements internally and are working hard to maintain a higher standard of communication and follow-through."
It is unfortunate it came to me writing this review in order to get a quick resolution, but it's a resolution nonetheless. Stay on top of your project if going with them.

As first-time homebuyers, we really appreciated how knowledgeable and honest Eddie was throughout the process. He clearly explained what needed to be done, including replacing some base boards, and gave us several shingle color options. Although weather and scheduling delays pushed our original start date, Eddie brought his full team and completed the roof in one day. Communication was excellent and we received consistent updates. While the roof is brand new so we can’t speak to long-term durability yet, Eddie’s strong warranty gives us confidence. Out of all the quotes we received, Eddie stood out the most, and we’re glad we chose him. From the initial quote to the finished project, you can really see the difference. Thank you, Eddie and team!
