  Miguel helped me in the yard. He delivered excellent service and made sure that the lumber I was getting was straight and had no wane. He asked questions about how this lumber was being used and selected each beam carefully so my finished product is better. By far the best customer service and help I’ve received at any Parr lumber location.

  After buying thousands and thousands of dollars of Trex products, I had to return $44 worth of balusters. After two weeks of the return I inquired twice about not receiving my credit. I was told Parr would look into why, I never received any return communication. After three weeks Parr lumber still had not contacted me about my credit return. I called corporate office Accounting Department to ask why I had not received the $44 credit. I was told that Parr had not received credit from their Trex vender and why I had to pay a 10% restocking charge. I replied I didn’t buy products from this vender I purchased them from Parr, and if Parr didn’t receive a credit than that’s between Parr Lumber and Trex. I felt also 10% restocking fee $5.00 was inappropriate and lame after my huge purchase of Trex. I was told by corporate I would be contacted this very same day by the Manager at Rockwood location, and he would issue me the credit. which I never received. A woman from sales desk calls me back and said, “ If you want your credit today there will be a 15% restocking fee”!!! I was told 10% originally and not arguing about it. She could care less and was very rude, at which time I said no thank you good bye. Called Corporate back explained to them what had happened and why manager did not call me back like I was told, and the girl that called could care less about being helpful. After much frustration I finally received my credit. No customer service, just chaos, and being impossible. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PARR LUMBER! Update and Reply;: 1)Your misinformed, the fact is the manager didn’t call me back, a female employee called me. Corporate office told me the MANAGER would call me back and credit would be issued immediately at 10% restocking that day. 2) You said I wouldn’t listen as she was trying to tell me that, all custom orders have restocking charge. That is not true. When I originally placed the order the very nice salesman said there is a 10% restocking charge and at which time I replied I understand, and stated if I had a small return under $100 it seems inappropriate. Not good business practice. He didn’t tell me it would be over three weeks for my credit, and it would have been longer had I not pressed the issue. 3) Your employee would not listen to me as I stated, “I was quoted 10% not 15% “ I was further trying to clarify but she was talking over me with a closed mind. When she finished, there was a silence and i stated I was not able to communicate and hung up. 4) yes I received a checked only because I called corporate office back again explained what had happened. Corporate office girl was very nice but frustrated with my result from store and simply said, “I’ll send out a check today”. Yes thank for the FULL credit! Also thank you for your payment of an accident damage to my truck while being loaded.
