  After discovering a leak, we worked with JKC to redo our front siding, as well as replace the front door and a bedroom window. The project went very smoothly, the siding, window, and door were all completed in a week. The painting and finishing touches went quickly as well. Our project manager Steve and his crew arrived early each day, worked with purpose and we were impressed with their craftsmanship. They were extremely neat and left our driveway / small yard better than they originally found it. Communication was easy, the prices were reasonable, and the project was on time. I definitely recommend JKC for your next home exterior project.

  We had a great experience working with this company. Our project was new siding replacing old plank siding and a point job. Estimate was very clear and we even asked for a new estimate to break out all optional charges before we moved forward. During the process we had a couple small issues/misunderstandings that were quickly cleared up and fixed to our satisfaction. That is bound to happen when dealing with a few point people that are all human. What was also nice about this experience was that it was done in a timely manner with no surprise hidden costs. My biggest fears when dealing with any project is big delays and paying much more then we agreed on so that was a big relief that it was not an issue. We would and have recommended them to others.

  I couldn't be happier with the work done on my home by Joseph Ketner Construction. They replaced siding and painted the exterior. Before their expert work, the old siding was truly an eyesore. They transformed my home from the worst on the block to one of the best, restoring its mid-century charm. Joe's team was super to work with, especially Bonnie and Steve. Great communication, attention to details and super nice too. Pricing was also reasonable. I recommend JKC for your project!

  Shortly after purchasing our home, we discovered severe dry rot hidden beneath two layers of siding, and it was clear we'd have to strip everything down to the sheathing. Going down to the sheathing meant it'd also be an excellent time to replace old windows and doors. All this to say, it was a vast project involving demolition, rot repair, window/door installation, downspout replacement, siding installation, and painting. Joseph and his team did a phenomenal job. Our project came with a lot of challenges that they were able to solve. Anytime a new complication came up, they communicated the problem and provided us with multiple options. We got quotes from practically every siding company worth their salt in Portland, and Joseph's bid came right in the middle. Other quotes were either so low that it was apparent the cost would balloon or far too high to justify. Joseph was organized, communicated clearly, and was respectful of our time throughout the project. Overall, we are thrilled with the results and would recommend them to family/friends.
