I had 2 services booked at same time to "check the health" of both the AC & the water heater in my rental condo. Had no clue about either one, but just wanted to take opportunity to have them checked out to avoid any disasters & "peace of mind" that professionals looked into them. Both Frankie (water heater) & Noah (AC) were extraordinarily awesome!! Both were extremely knowledgeable, friendly & just all out amazing. They are true PROS that know their stuff & provide excellent services!!!! Was able to make definitive decisions for each same day during double appt since they both thoroughly completed all research, providing me on the spot options, recommenations, & patiently answered all my questions. Got a brand new water heater up in the attic on 3rd floor w/latest technology that replaced the 22 yr old traditional one, while the AC was serviced & repaired to the best it could be based on unusual setup & difficult location as well in the attic. Got the annual service plan for heating & cooling services well as to continue to ensure all is well with the place. Didn't feel rushed by either of them and have absolutely nothing but complete gladness that both Frankie & Noah were able to help out!!!! I love D & F - my total "go-to" for any needs in water heaters & AC things!!!!! Thank you so much Frankie & Noah - you guys are totally awesome 😀 😀

In the middle of a bathroom remodel, I discovered I needed a plumber at the last second. Eddie jumped in and solved problems I didn't even know I had because the space hadn't been touched in 40 years. I wasn't so pleased to find out the work was necessary, but they walked me through why it was wise to proceed. Fitting me into their schedule helped me keep all my other subcontractors on track so we could meet our deadline for an upcoming guest visit. Extra points to Brad in the office for having a great sense of humor and enthusiasm for the job. Even their on-hold recordings are funny. I actually enjoyed working with this company, which is a rare feat for a plumbing company. Highly recommend.

I'll start with the lesser comments. 1. A little challenging getting someone on the phone. Do you have voicemail? Didn't kick in. 2. When I was quoted the price (a chunk for me) I asked if that was everything/bottom line. Turns out didn't include the coming out fee. So, a little surprise, just when I was getting comfortable with the original quoted amount.
That noted, the fact that the work could be done immediately...great! And my tech, John couldn't have been nicer, more reassuring, more expert in everything he did. Felt like my brother was doing the job. And that all is the real bottom line. I.E. Can I sleep at night knowing I got the best equipment installed by the best technician!

We had D&F HVAC and plumbing come out to check our hvac and tankless water heater to make sure they were in good working order. Noah was the tech that checked the hvac. He was very knowledgable and personable and took time checking the system and explaining the process. Nathan was the plumber who checked the water heater. He was also very knowledgable and personable. He explained what he was checking and answered all our questions. Ann who scheduled the service was very friendly and even called back to let me know the hvac tech had to reschedule 1 day due to an emergency. Ann also called after both service calls to make sure our needs had been met. I would highly recommend D&F for hvac and pluming needs.

Initially, I spoke to Danielle who was very friendly and helpful. She was able to schedule someone to come out that same day. When Robert arrived, he was friendly and knowledgeable. We had a clogged kitchen sink that wouldn’t drain. We had already cleared the p-trap and snaked down about 20-feet but the pipe was still clogged. When Robert arrived, he let me know that the cost to "assess" the situation was $139, but that would be rolled into the price if we went ahead with the work. Then Robert quoted $960 for the work, which seemed extremely high, but since the company had such great reviews, I thought maybe I just didn't know what the cost was and that maybe there was more work involved than I was thinking so I went ahead and authorized the work (I admit this was my mistake...). Robert was able to clear the clog using a100-foot snake. When I asked him what would happen if I ran the dishwasher and it clogged again, for some reason, he told me that drain clogs weren't guaranteed so I would just have to pay to have it snaked again at the same price (this should have been made very clear prior to me signing the work authorization). From the time Robert arrived to the time he left, he spent under an hour. The "assessment" consisted of a visual inspection of the drain and the pipe in our basement, but no camera or other assessment tools were utilized. Robert told me that because our pipes were old (it's a 100-year old house), the snake could potentially damage the pipe which would mean it would need to be replaced. He quoted me $4,000 for the replacement. I just crossed my fingers and hoped for the best, thankfully the pipe held. Robert kept insinuating that we must put a lot down the garbage disposal; however, we compost almost all food waste and I am vigilant about removing grease, oil, and butter from dishes/pans with paper towels before rinsing them or putting them in the dishwasher. There seemed to be a lot of push for additional work such as replacing the main sewer line. After reaching out to the business to get a justification for the price I had paid, I spoke to Brad who was very responsive. He agreed that some of the things could have been communicated better and that Robert hadn't adequately represented the company. He mentioned that some of the reasons for the cost were the same-day responsiveness and the fact that all of their vans have thousands of dollars of equipment so they could fix essentially any problem right then and there. Brad was reasonable, made it clear this company cares about the customer, and listened to me. In the end, a discount was applied and I appreciated that. That being said, I think this company may be a better value for a larger job. I will add that another plumber that I reached out to called me back and let me know the soonest they could come out was in a week, so if you need a job done quick, this company may be the one for you. I would give this company 5 stars for responsiveness, 4 stars for the work, 4 stars for customer service, and 3 stars for value (for our relatively minor job). We will be shopping around for our upcoming needs including replacing the pipe and re-doing the sewer line connection, when it is needed.
