  I live a few blocks from Bridgetown Electric and reached out hoping to support a neighborhood business, but I don’t think these guys are interested in small jobs. I wanted a breaker installed, some wire run, and a new appliance hooked up. I called, explained the work, and was told I’d get a bid by email. It never came. I persisted, giving them the benefit of the doubt and followed up. They later asked for additional information, which I provided, but I still couldn’t get a site visit, an estimator scheduled, or any clear next step despite being completely flexible on timing. Travis ultimately told me they couldn’t send someone out to give me a firm bid. If you’re too busy or don’t want the job, just say it. The communication and follow-through were weak/unprofessional. I probably would’ve hired them even if they weren’t the cheapest because they’re close and I wanted to build a relationship with a neighborhood shop. But they were so dang hard to work with and so vague. Instead, I can take a hint. Weak sauce.

  Bridgetown Electric was responsive and got right to work. I knew exactly what I needed, so there was no extended diagnosis required. They got right to work, and I was satisfied with price/value, I will call them again.
