  5/5 Stars – Outstanding Work, Honest Service, and Completely Bulletproof Install We recently hired Dr. HVAC to replace our old heating and cooling setup with a brand-new York dual-fuel hybrid central system (heat pump, variable-speed furnace, evaporator coil, and an upgraded 5-inch media filter cabinet). Mike and his team did an absolute top-tier job from start to finish. A few key highlights from our experience: Attention to Detail & Safety: During the process, they caught and corrected a minor gas leak issue without flinching, keeping everything completely transparent and holding themselves to the highest safety standards. Flawless Quality: The sheet metal work, equipment layout, and system retrofitting were done right the first time. Zero Stress Inspection: The county inspector came through and signed off on the entire job with flying colors. It is rare to find contractors with this level of honesty, technical expertise, and pride in their craft. The house is running perfectly and staying comfortable. If you need serious HVAC work done right, call Dr. HVAC. Highly recommended!

  I live in a small trailer, so when my portable LG AC unit started acting up, and no one from my warranty was willing to help me within the same week let alone the same day, I looked into Dr. HVAC. I called them and was told they'd call me back "today", but there was no ETA. I expected to not get a call until much later. It was only about 2:30PM. Within minutes I get a call from Jared, who explained that Saturdays are overtime days and said that it would be $75 starting price and paid by the hour. Jared made it out to Lafayette in less than 20 minutes and he was able to help. He didn't overcharge and he was VERY helpful with my unit. He told me exactly what was wrong and how to move on from here and the AC was working perfectly after he left. It was more than worth the $75; he came out on a Saturday in almost no time at all and resolved the problem, and offered suggestions should the issue happen again. Excellent service, would recommend!
