  **Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Workmanship and Unacceptable Repairs** I strongly recommend thinking twice before hiring Paulson for flooring installation. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a disaster. Our builder hired Paulson to install hardwood flooring on the first floor of our home, which sits on a concrete slab. Just **four months after installation, the wood flooring began separating from the concrete**, leaving multiple areas loose and hollow when walked on. An independent flooring professional subsequently inspected the floor and identified improper preparation of the concrete surface as a likely cause. When I contacted Paulson to address the problem, I expected a professional repair. Instead, they sent an installer without supervision who **drilled screws directly through our hardwood flooring into the concrete slab**. To make matters worse, the installer covered the holes with filler that didn't even match the color of the wood, leaving visible and unsightly patches. Rather than fixing the original installation problem, their attempted repair caused additional damage to our floors. **The lack of workmanship, quality control, supervision, and attention to detail has been shocking.** This is not the level of professionalism anyone should expect from a flooring company, particularly when working on an expensive home. Based on my experience, I would **strongly discourage other homeowners and builders from using Paulson**. A flooring installation should last for years, not start failing after four months and then be made worse by careless repairs.

  After getting bids from several other places in the Portland area we stopped into Paulsons in Lake Oswego. Shellee was amazing to work with and we instantly felt like we were in good hands. The pricing was competitive, and the quality far exceeded other vendors. The installers were communicative, reliable and did beautiful work. I highly recommend trusting Paulson's for your flooring needs.

  The store is absolutely beautiful with a killer view!!! We chose the Coretec LVP flooring with the help of awesome salesperson, Shellee, and Vlad installed. It is absolutely gorgeous and done in a day! And waterproof! Ryan worked with us on pricing and very pleased with all. The clean up before hand and the install work by Vlad is exceptional!!!! We heard some negative stories about Home Depot and Lowes installers, so we went with the best.
