  Mike did a wonderful job with the work I needed done. He was efficient, knowledgeable and for a great price for the work he did. I definitely will be recommending them to anyone I know that needs plumbing work done.

  The work itself was acceptable. The plumber arrived quickly, the repair was done in under an hour, and it appears to be holding up. I'm a disabled veteran who can no longer do repairs like I used to, and I needed my kids' bathroom working again as soon as possible, so I appreciated the fast turnaround. I believe in paying a fair price when receiving a service I cannot do on my own, and I'm grateful for folks who work in the trades. My frustration is with the pricing and how it was handled afterward. My wife was quoted $700 and tried to describe the situation to me over the phone, and I agreed because I had no way to gauge what the job involved. Once I saw the finished work, it looked like roughly $40 in SharkBite fittings and a few feet of pipe, plus under an hour of labor. That seemed steep, and I'd hoped for a bit more transparency, so I called the following day to ask about a breakdown for parts/labor to better understand what was going on. When I called to ask about it, I spoke with Mike, who may be the owner. Instead of explaining how the price was calculated, he was dismissive and defensive, telling me it wasn't about time and that I had no idea what it takes to run a busines. I understand overhead is real and I did agree to the quote. But a polite explanation would have gone a long way, and I left the conversation feeling brushed off rather than respected as a customer. If you're considering this company, I'd strongly recommend asking for an itemized quote before agreeing to any work.

  I had a pinhole leak in my water heater and Mike was quick to come out and fix it! Really pleasant to deal with, and just an overall great guy! Speedy quick fix, good conversation. And on a SUNDAY MORNING! I’ll definitely be a returning customer! I appreciate you guys!

  Mike absolutely ROCKS! Called on Memorial Day Weekend, and Mike answered where everyone else was closed. The main drain was 100% clogged to our home, and while Mike couldn’t come immediately, he suggested a few things I could try. His suggestion was golden, and saved our holiday. Murphy Plumbing is the only call I’ll make in the future.
