Arthur Paylor is President of the flooring division and is over Mill Creek Carpet & Tile which started with one location and has now grown to 19 store locations throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, and Missouri. - KCKatie CJun 3, 20261.0My builder recommended using Millcreek for tile & countertops. I was excited to meet Shawna in November 2025 to make selections, & was told we were on budget and good to go. After a few weeks our sales person told old us we were actually way over budget but he ‘could make it work’. A few months later we were told the tile we selected (that we thought would be installed any day) was discontinued and had to order another option. When another month passed and nothing was installed I was told my builder is actually their client not me, even though it was my selections, for my house, paid for with my money. After months, and a change in sales people due to a weird personal feud between our builder and our previous sales person they started installing tile (three showers & a kitchen backsplash). This took over two months to complete by a contractor who would work for an hour and proceed to sit in his car in my driveway for multiple hours. The countertops were a fiasco as well, last minute I was told my selection wouldn’t work because the size marked on the slab wasn’t the actual size so I had to select a different slab (which was a bummer because I loved the one I selected). Was told the new selection was out of budget but they could ‘make it work’. After a few more weeks they installed the wrong countertops in two of the five rooms, they ended up fixing one of them. This place overcharges, under delivers , & is extremely difficult to communicate & deal with.

They're so easy to clean and they're not cold & hard like tile. I don't ever want carpet again, especially with pets! And the installers were incredibly nice and helpful!!! Thanks Mill Creek!
