I’m curious why there’s not a zero star option. I ordered sliding doors from Hughes lumber in Stillwater. That was a huge mistake. Do not make the same mistake I did. JJ did not correctly take down my order and sent me the wrong sliders. When I called back to talk to JJ, I was told he would call me back. JJ never called me back so I tried somebody else in the office a guy named Josh. He literally said I can’t handle this today and put the phone down never to pick it back up. So to be clear, he didn’t hang up on me. He just sets the phone down and makes you wait 10 minutes until you realize they’re not actually going to get back on the phone. Next, we have Clay, these people are incapable of calling you back and make a simple transaction very difficult. Finally I said OK who is the manager? Well, the manager‘s name is Virgil. I dare you to try and call and get a hold of this guy. Get prepared for I’ll have him call you, but he never will call you. He’s mysteriously always at lunch or in the warehouse or on break in his truck when you call. And then does not call you back no matter how many times people will say yes we call you back. They never did. Ultimately it took six months to finalize all my transactions because they sent me the wrong product. You would think after sending a customer who’s spending thousands of dollars the wrong product they would at least apologize and try and be helpful but no, not this group of guys.
This is by far the worst experience buying material I’ve ever had in my 29 years of construction. I used to think most people took pride in their work and wanted to do a good job, not this group of guys.
To top it off Mill Creek is half the price!

It seems they only like serving certain customers. I’ve been to other Hughes stores and this is the only one I’ve had any issues with. I’ve also spoken to others who have experienced the same. It’s a shame they don’t care about customer experience.
