We recently had Half Moon Plumbing out for a complete redo of our drain pipes throughout the home, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience from start to finish.
The crew—Bo, Mike, Matt, Nate G, Juan, Sam, Ian, and Jason—worked with us over multiple days (Thursday/Friday and then Monday/Tuesday), and every single one of them was professional, courteous, and respectful of our home.
They were always prompt, kept us informed every step of the way, and took the time to explain what they were doing and why. It really made a big difference knowing what was going on throughout such a major project.
What stood out just as much as the quality of the work was their attention to detail: they cleaned up after themselves daily, stayed organized, and made sure everything was in great shape before wrapping up each day.
The workmanship is top-notch, and we are extremely happy with the final results.
If you’re looking for a plumbing company that delivers excellent work along with truly great customer service, I highly recommend Half Moon Plumbing—and especially this crew.

Half Moon Plumbing is the best to call for anything plumbing! Very punctual, respectful, knowledgeable and professional. We had a clogged drain, I called and there were technicians at my house within a few hours. Ian kept me updated with what was happening and advised what would work best for our situation. Bohdan showed up the next day to finish the job.
Ian and Bohdan and their helpers kept me informed, was very polite and a pleasure to work with. Also another positive feedback is Half Moon Plumbing sends a pic of the technician who will be working at your home. Just all around great company and technicians!! Give em a call, they will take good care of you.
I can't rave enough about these guys! Nate, Trent, Brandon and JD are awesome fellows. I had them come in and replace my traditional water heater with a tankless one and the job they did was superb. They also replaced my old smoke alarm system, which was outdated and replaced them with new ones and installed needed ones in rooms that did not have one before. My circuit breaker panels were also replaced with up to code new ones. The professionalism these gentlemen show is second to none. The knowledge, especially Nate is beyond years of experience. They are friendly, funny and careful with your home. They explained everything prior to beginning, during and at the end. Should I have issue in the future, whether electrical or plumbing, these are the guys I will be going to. If you have such issues/concerns, give them a call!

Probably the worst & most confusing plumbing experience I have ever had. My issue: A "Smart" toilet that doesn't stop running. I gave the brand, model #, & issue to the booking person who assured me this was an issue they have fixed & could fix. The day comes & the tech arrives. He is nice enough, greets me, puts on footies & follows me to the toilet. He looks at it while I explain the issue...I finish & I start walking away. I do not need to be in the room supervising. I exit, turn the corner, & the guy starts talking to me from the restroom, so I return. He asks if we have any water leaks or other issues (at the time I thought this was him saying this is an easy fix & what else do you have for me...I was wrong). I tell him no, & he asks to see our hot water tank. At this point he has spent maybe two minutes at the toilet...never lifted the lid, or recreated the problem...hasn't done anything other then look at the model # on the toilet. I take him to the hot water tank...he examines it & tells me the water pressure coming into the house is at an illegal level. I tell him I do not know what he is talking about or what that means, we have had other plumbers & contractors at the house & this has never been mentioned. I also mention the faucets (outdoor or indoor) are normal, we do not see any of this "illegal pressure". He then asks where our water meter is...I take him to the meter in the yard, but he never touches it & instead just starts talking about all this pressure & things failing in the house due to this issue (never mind we have been in this house for 12 years with zero plumbing leak issues). He then asks where the main water cut-off is (finally he is going to fix our issue!). I tell him there is a shut off at the toilet, or for the house you need to do it at the meter. He tells me we should have one in the house & wants to look. He looks under the kitchen sink (while my wife is looking at me trying to understand how this fixes our upstairs toilet), he then asks where the downstairs bathroom is...I show him & he looks in closets & all over the bathroom. He tells me when he looked under our kitchen sink, he knows we have an indoor cutoff valve somewhere & then tells me when the house was built they may have sealed it behind a wall (at this point I know this plumber is crazy). He then walks to the stair landing (I again think he is heading upstairs). My wife is in the living room watching & I am hopeful he is heading upstairs. Instead he goes on about this pressure issue...we tell him no one has ever mentioned this to us before. He stops, and very condescendingly questions us "Why do you think that is?" We tell him we are not worried about the water pressure (this back & forth went on about 5 minutes). Then he moves on to the toilet. He wants us to write him a check for $199.00 to call AKNIRL tech support & figure out what the issue is. At this, I am 100% speechless, confused...at a loss. After I got my ability to talk back, I tell him no. He goes on to say these SMART toilets cost up to $10,000 & I tell him ours cost $399 & I wasn't spending $199 so he could learn how to do his job. He then asks us what our expectations for him was...and I said to fix the toilet I was told you would be able to fix (this led to the $199 fee talk again). I finally got him to leave the house where I was told I would receive an invoice "detailing what we discussed today". But, alas no invoice was ever emailed to me. From the point I opened the door, to the point he drove away, was just under an hour. Possibly 2 - 4 minutes were spent at the toilet that caused the service call (this time was spent by me talking and zero trouble shooting by the plumber). About two weeks later I received a text message from Zach at Half Moon Plumbing (not our plumber) asking me if I was ready to go forward with my estimate (something I never received other that the verbal $199 fee). 100% waste of time, 100% a complete joke. The entire visit felt more like a time share presentation then someone there to service a need.

We called several plumbing companies the morning of 3-12-26 but Half Moon responded quickly with Hailey sending Jackson Spyres out that afternoon to give us an estimate for what we needed done. The ceiling of a pantry closet fell in due a slow water leak that made the deteriorating the water copper lines visible, due to the years of being on well water, so we needed new PEX lines to replace all the old copper ones. Also, our tub/shower in the main bathroom, was old with tiles falling off, so wanted that taken out & replaced with a fiberglass walk in shower. Jackson scheduled to start the project on 3-17-26 and estimated a 2-3 day process. Juan Sandoval & Josh Foster came out on time with a call (& a text from the office) they were on their way. (They were always on time with a call letting us know they were on their way.) They replaced the whole house old copper lines (which were in the attic) in 2 full days & did a great job; being careful if/when having to go thru walls, replacing the sheetrock neatly, and always cleaning as they did their work. When they got to the main bathroom where the tub/shower was going to be taken out, there happened to be a small leak from the copper line in the attic that actually had water standing in the false ceiling above the tub/shower area. That had not been known, so was an unexpected addition to the project that needed that false ceiling taken out too; but the owner "ok'd" everything & the project continued as planned with no additional cost; Juan & Josh took out the old & put in the new without any new issues. To keep our costs down, we did some of the work before and after, around the new shower being put in; also having another company do the drywall, but all the in- between work we did ourselves in stages, took longer to be able to use our new shower. We appreciate how Half Moon Plumbing worked around us doing some of the work and how great of a job Juan & Josh did who were super nice gentlemen too! It took us awhile to be able to finally start using our new shower, & it is very nice; the flooring is soft on the feet with a non slip quality and lots of little shelves for all of our shower needs.
Thank you to all who helped make this happen & we highly recommend Half Moon Plumbing & Electric (especially using Juan Sandoval & Josh Foster) for whatever job you need done.
