  I am rewriting this review because Google removed my original one after I referred to M&J as "unethical dirtbags." After reflecting on the situation, I'll simply stick to the facts and let others draw their own conclusions. To be clear, neither Darren nor Ronnie are unethical dirtbags. M&J insulated an overhead sprinkler pipe in my office but missed a small section of pipe. During a freeze, that exposed section froze and burst, flooding my office and causing part of the ceiling drywall to collapse. Fortunately, the fire department responded quickly and shut the water off before the damage became even worse. The repairs were handled through insurance, and my office is back up and running. What has truly disappointed me is not the original mistake. Mistakes happen in every business. What matters is how a company responds when a customer needs help afterward. All I requested was a very small amount of warranty work to replace some blown-in insulation that was lost when the drywall collapsed because of the flooding. Over the course of roughly three weeks, I repeatedly attempted to contact Darren and Ronnie. On one occasion, I spoke directly with Ronnie and explained the situation, and he told me to hold on because another call was coming in and that he would call me right back. That callback never came. Despite multiple attempts to reach both individuals, my calls and requests were effectively ignored. To make matters worse, I told them that I had a paying insulation jobon one of my rental properties. Because they couldn't be bothered to return a phone call regarding a legitimate warranty, I’m going to rent equipment from Home Depot and do it myself. As a small business owner myself, I do not enjoy leaving negative reviews. I understand that things go wrong. What I cannot understand is a company completely abandoning communication when a customer needs assistance with a problem related to their work. A five-minute phone call and a small amount of follow-up service could have resolved this entire matter and this would be a 5 star review instead of a zero star. Based on my experience, the workmanship mistake was disappointing, but the lack of accountability and customer service afterward was far worse. But to be absolutely clear, I am in no way calling either of them unethical dirtbags. ★☆☆☆☆
