Every year they have always found an expensive problem with the unit wanting to charge $700 to $2,000 every single time they come out. This last time is no different. My unit is not cooling for the first time since I've moved in. Now there's an $1800 estimate to fix it and now I see the thermostat on my wall is blank, no longer working. I told the technician I was going to get a 2nd opinion through my American Home Shield option after he sent the estimate and he just got his tools and left. I'm done with them. I've heard the same thing from so many other people. I wanted to think it's not true, but it very much is. If you're looking for a good HVAC company, don't go with them unless you have deep pockets every year.
