  In less then 18 months of new built, my house is leaking. When I contracted the customer services, I was told my warranty is only for one year. How frustrating it is

  I just purchased a house from Rockford and I couldn't be more pleased. Troy worked woth us from start to finish and worked diligently to make the purchase happen. The home is quality, even my inspector was impressed with the quality of the build.

  Very bad build quality. I had a very high expectations with the reputation that Rockford has, but it does not show with the work they do. They get different contractors without any proper planning, their lumbar is subpar , the flooring gets squeaky with in the construction. I am really sad to even post this review as I had a very good expectation for the standards Rockford has. Want to add about the sales rep too. They have been very comforting in the start and never explained what quality of wood we are going to get. They made us sign a home without staying facts .

  I do not have a good experience with Rockford Homes. I closed on my home 5 months ago and we are yet to get sod. They would prioritize sales (new homes who use closing as a bargaining chip) over completing the pending work. Construction Quality: One thing that I noticed with my basement is that the heating pipes block the window. They are not even willing to speak to their subcontractor to channel their venting pipe differently. If I ever plan on completing my basement, I will have to call a contractor to reroute those ducts so that my windows are visible. In addition to the above, be prepared for falling door handles, wrongly connected vents, uneven heating (with their Dover model), very loose plumbing, frequently tripping powerlines (Thanks to MD Electric their subcontractor). Rockford homes rush in contractors before closing and so the quality of work takes a big hit. Overall, I would think twice before choosing Rockford and NEVER NEVER close if all things are not in order.

  When taking internal measurements of our home built by Rockford especially basement walls and items... Nothing was really plumb, quite disappointed in this regard. This was a house we purchased and originally built by Rockford about 18 years ago.
