  ABC Drain and Plumbing came back and regraded my yard even though they are not responsible for that per the contract. This is a very nice gesture, and I would highly recommend them to anyone moving forward.

  Be careful if using this company’s quotes for home inspection negotiations or budgeting. We received a quote showing our shower repair at $775 and used that figure in seller negotiations. After closing, when we scheduled only that repair, we were informed the cost would be nearly $1,000 unless we moved forward with a larger package over $4,000. The bundle pricing requirement was NOT clearly communicated when the original quote was provided, which created confusion (and frustration) around the final cost. The repair was completed, but I recommend confirming whether quoted line items are standalone prices or only apply when completing the full recommended scope of work.

  This backflow test became so complicated. First the report had my wrong address, but obviously they miswrote it because they were able to find my home. I had to chase them to send the report which finally happened after a few weeks. But the city kept telling me they didn’t receive it, while the company told me they sent it a couple times. But we found they’ve been sending it to the county instead of the city. Why aren’t they making sure that they’re paying attention to detail? Residents need these reports to be in compliance for the city backflow standards and failure to do so results in fines.

  We used this company after our basement flooded about a week ago. I called them needing it snaked which they did come to do. The helper had an injury and made it very well known he was hurt so that was interesting. Both seemed very unhappy to be here. But that’s besides the point. After they were done snaking the drain, I was told “Sorry ma’am, that cast iron main drain needs completely replaced”. $6000. I found it to be a little fishy so decided to get a second opinion. I called another local company who used a camera down my drain which was 70 ft. They let me watch the camera in real time and guess what there were ZERO breaks. Just a few tree roots this company left behind. ABC also decided to leave the remnants on my floor they got out. I am still in shock ABC almost scammed me into needing that drain replaced. I also found it interesting they said my drain was cast iron when it is actually clay. They had no idea what was in there without a camera. Do not hire this company! If you do, make sure you watch the camera in real time to be sure they don’t show you someone else’s broken drain.
