  Everyone from the salesman, Jeff , to the project manager, Mason, to ALL the 3 crews that came out to give me a new roof, new siding and new gutters and downspouts WERE terrific. I have a new house at the same address. The crews knew what they had to do and did it, they all cleaned up after themselves and they did it all in a timely manner. Would highly recommend

  Our salesman Alec Tarter was phenomenal, he did a great job of explaining why a new roof was needed with visual assets to go along with this to further establish his knowledge and expertise in the field. The value of a new roof was thoroughly explained and I could not be happier with the job that was done. I would highly recommend Alec and Home Genius Exteriors to a friend, family or colleague in the future. Our project manager Quinn was also informative the entire project keeping us in the loop of start and end times, as well as doing a detailed walk through of the property. Overall I am highly satisfied with the quality of work that was done!

  I hired Home genius on April 24 to come do some siding repair on my house. They were scheduled to come out mid May. Never heard nothing from him so I called him at the beginning of the week after the second week of May they told me that the project had been canceled never told me nothing never said anything never offered my deposit back. Didn’t find out until I called out on May 13 to tell him that I needed to push the project back two weeks that they weren’t going to do the project they will hang up on you just very poor business.

  The roof itself came out beautifully - I love the look, the shingles totally complement my home’s exterior design. On the other hand, they were pricey, but for the 50 year warranty they provided I thought it was worth it. They gave me no fore notice that they would be dumping the roof rubbish in my neighbors driveway so she got pissed when she couldnt access the driveway since it was clobbered with all the junk and went off on me on my security camera. Yes I was comped two $50 home depot gift cards - one for my angry neighbor and another bc they smeared their greasy hands on my pillars and made a ugly stain on the paint (granted they completed the roof in the middle of this past winter so I get it was probably slippery - but now thats more work for me) They broke a picture window in the upstairs unit - yes they paid for the repair but I had to take so much time out of my day to arrange everything and it was legit three to four weeks after the work had been done and here I am still sorting this out. Plus, here we are two months out from the repair and Im noticing a billion nails from the repair scattered throughout my driveway which another person brought to my attention and I realized this is easy recipe for a random bursted tire for any of the vehicles parking in the driveway. I did ask the kind gentleman if someone could come out and run a magnet through the driveway and he explained that at the time the ground was snow capped so now that its finally all melted the nails are now visible; he said he would have someone come out but no one has come yet 🤷🏾‍♂️. One of my gutters is also hanging off and after requesting that it be reaffixed since I dont recall it being popped off like that when they began, the nice gentleman kindly explained that I now I need a gutter company to come out for that sincr technically they say they arent responsible. so yea a new roof but comes with a laundry list of things needed as a result of the job that was done. Whatever.

  My mother spent $15,000 to replace her roof and gutters in May 2025. In March of this year, she noticed her gutters had detached from the anchors. On April 10, 2026, Mike (a representative from the company) and another gentleman came to inspect the issue; Mike stated that the gutter shields/shingles were not installed properly and said he would be back (or send someone/a team) to fix. My mother has been trying to contact the company for a follow-up, but no one has been able to give her an answer, let alone a date/time to repair the issue. If someone spends $15K for your services, you would expect the company to have the decency to stand by their product! PROTECT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND INVEST WITH ANOTHER COMPANY!!
