  I will let you decide if the name of the business should be changed to unaffordable. I called them to review an issue that I was having on my AC unit on a very hot week of weather. They came and replaced a capacitor at a cost of $375 for 15-30 minutes of work. If the capacitor cost $30 (as charged by another contractor), they charged me over $600 per hour. Regardless, I paid the bill while they were there as I felt I had no choice Oddly enough I had another issue at another house out of town with the exact same issue. They replaced the capacitor for a total cost of $120. I therefore called Rick and said there must be a mistake on the cost as they charged three times the cost of the other contractor. I asked for $125 refund, that is still twice the cost of the other contractor but understand Ricks must have a really high overhead rate. He agreed that he would give me a $100 refund and I accepted to be fair after going back and forth but even at that, he never did provide a refund as promised. I feel I was taken advantage of because the hot weather but there are other contractor that change a reasonable rate....not over $600 per hour. You decide if this is someone you would like to do business with.

  Our air went out on Friday and Rick’s was the only place we could get ahold of on a Friday afternoon. The receptionist was extremely nice and helpful with scheduling. They came out Monday and fixed the blower motor no problem! Aaron was great and gave me options when it came to fixing the furnace versus just motor replacement. Didn’t feel pressured to overpay for stuff and he was very upfront with the pricing. Would recommend to anyone!

  Dennis came out was very knowledgeable, gave me a few different quotes on installing a new HVAC SYSTEM… prices weee a little higher than the two estimates I had gotten. The professionalism of a sales person was great. This is just my experience as a customer buying a new unit, perhaps I’ll get another survey after the installation of my HVAC system and Air Purifier.

  We can’t say enough wonderful things about the techs who worked on our home. It was a very large job that took well over a week of work and several different workers to complete the job (Dylan, Trevor, Rory, and Ryland are who I can remember - I’m sorry if I forgot someone!). Every single tech was professional, courteous, extremely hard working, respectful of our needs, and kept us updated throughout the process. We will use Rick’s again because of how wonderful these guys were, even going above and beyond in horribly hot temperatures and conditions to complete the job. These guys deserve a raise and then some!!! We can’t say thank you enough for the sacrifices they made for us and the hard work they demonstrated every minute they were here!
