  I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but this has been an incredibly disappointing experience. Their sales team was very communicative and thorough on the front end of project so we had high hopes that this would go well. After they finished working, we found trash in our basement as well as dirt throughout. In addition, we discovered that they did not go through proper permitting. We've been chasing them down to correct this for 5 weeks now and cannot get a call back from anyone at this company.

  We had our basement encapsulated approximately 10 months ago. We cannot express how great the job was done and how much better our air quality is in our house and our crawlspace is completely dry. No matter who we talk to with Ohio basement authority every single person is top-notch and extremely caring! This past weekend, Ruben came out to our house for our annual inspection. As per our experience with the company he was absolutely fantastic and did a phenomenal job and answered all of our questions. And was exceptional with our family! We couldn’t ask for a better business to deal with! Thank you!

  Please Don't use this company. They told me I needed to cut the hole to the crawl space 3inches . Took the dehumidifier out of box took the legs off it. Fits fine. Also my electoral work was completely wired away from the wall. It needs to be fixed. Rushed me to sign papers so they could get paid That was a mistake. Told me we could put the dehumidifier down there and hook it up after I spent over $21000 or they would come back and do it. Also was told they were local. They're not. They are out of Columbus.

  The quote this company gave was over $25,000 to a single older lady to fix a 4 level split homes basements walls and they pressured her into on the spot taking a loan out to do this work. We had another contractor come and do a quote and he quoted a mere $5000 stating the same issues but much less invasive work to fix and savings of over $20,000. I feel like they took advantage of the situation and the fact that there was a single older lady in distress making the decisions.

  I had 2 projects completed. One was having 3 patios raised and leveled. Which went great. Second was installing 9 helical piers and repairing a crack. This did not go well. The installer completed the work during a 2 day thunder storm. As a result he was unable to properly position the piers and only a small part of the support bracket is touching the house. When I asked about this and said that the person who sold me the repairs said the piers should be straight and the brackets should be flush with the house. He responded that the sales guy was new and didn't know what he was talking about. Also due to the storms the heavy equipment tore up the front, back and side yards. The installer said he would fix it but didn't , he did leave a bag of straw. The crack repair lasted 2 months, it now has cracks and is falling apart. I can't recommend Ohio Basement Authority for helical piers.
