  First visit was to fix a leaky pipe. Second visit was to replace the pipe they fixed because the pipe was now cracked and it was leaking worse than before the fix. Have had them out for two different issues and both “repairs” required a follow up repair.

  Called this morning for a water heater that the pilot light went out and would not re light got a window of service from Noon -2pm tech showed up at 255pm (not really a big deal to me) came in told me my gas line to my hot water heater wasn’t in code? Said my water heater was old (it is) never touched the water heater got on his phone told me it would be 366 just to run diagnostics, I am fairly certain it’s the thermocouple he agreed I asked if that price included the new thermocouple he said no that would cost additional fees. He went out to get me a quote for the thermocouple I made some quick phone calls because none of this interaction felt right and I made the decision to not move forward. Very disappointed in the level of limited service. And how the tech handled the whole interaction. He was literally all over the place with his limited answers to my questions.

  I was quoted up front for a price to wash out my clogged sewage pipe. I was ok with that. They completed the job but experienced blowback where some sewage overflew into my basement. Then they quoted me $2,000 to clean up the sewage mess they made. If they made the mess why should I have to pay to clean it up? Very shady bait and switch tactics…

  We had an emergency septic/main line backup at my grandmother’s house and Roto-Rooter Canton was the only company able to come out the same day. They arrived quickly, were professional, and took the situation seriously from the start. The technician worked hard to get the line cleared, including snaking the drains multiple times and hydro-jetting the main line. They found tree roots in the septic line and explained what was going on clearly. The supervisor was also very helpful. He walked through the damaged areas, took photos and videos for documentation, and helped my grandmother get the insurance claim started for the water/sewage backup cleanup. In a stressful situation, they were responsive, respectful, and made the process feel a lot more manageable. We really appreciate them getting out here fast and helping us through it.

  Roto-Rooter is a reliable company with excellent, knowledgeable technicians. Our technicians was always punctual, professional, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. They replaced our garbage disposal and upgraded our water line to copper, completing the work efficiently and with attention to detail. They are also scheduled to return next week to install a tankless water heater and a water softener system. Overall, we have had a very positive experience and would recommend their services.
