I moved into a home in 2018 that had the entire HVAC system Installed in 2015 by another local HVAC company. Since then, I have replaced the motor and boards twice, the blower, a thermostat, and had refrigerant added 3 times. I did biannual maintenance and still had issues over the years. I decided to switch HVAC companies this spring after the 10 year warranty expired and Quality technicians were very professional and informative. I decided to look into replacing the entire HVAC system. Mike did a great job explaining things to me during the entire process. I received a few discounts and add ons for free. I also took advantage of the financing promotion. Quality came out less than a week after doing the estimate on a new system and installed it. After installation, a few things from the old installation were concerns for me and they went a technician out to remedy the issues and bring me peace of mind. The entire process was smooth. I would recommend Quality to anyone looking for either maintenance, repair, or installation on HVAC systems.

Unfortunately we have had nothing but an awful experience with quality heating and cooling and have officially cancelled our membership with them. When we first had an issue with our heat we called them as they were the ones previously servicing our home before we moved in. We had Ryan come out and he was knowledgeable and great. Unfortunately it was all downhill after that. We had them come out in the summer to service our ac unit and we had Don come out. He was supposed to clean and look at our ac. Instead he tried to convince us we needed a new unit and that our capacitor was rusted. We decided to wait on the new ac unit and capacitor and just had it cleaned. About an hour after Don left our air completely stopped working - he had to come back with a supervisor to fix what he messed up to try to get us to buy a new unit. We requested after that to never have Don back at our residence. Flash forward a year and we make a call because our ac is making a buzzing sound (that only appeared after Don was out) and we were tired of it and wanted it fixed. They sent Cody out who was lovely and he gave us a quote for what needed fixed and even said a part was under warranty so we agreed. The next day an hour before scheduled to show up they called and stated the part they said was under warranty actually wasn’t because they didn’t install it and now it would be an extra 500 for the service visit. We fought it stating Cody confirmed it was under warranty…so they call Cody only to find that he was the one who installed the part which is why he knew it was under warranty. Had we not fought this we would have ended up paying them for the part that was indeed under warranty. Cody also stated during this that our ac unit doesn’t even contain a capacitor (the part that Don told us was rusted and needed replaced when he was out). Either an incredibly shady company or some of their techs have zero idea what they are doing. Now this week we have a problem with our water heater and call the emergency number and they state they will send someone out between 8-9am. At 8:30 we haven’t heard anything so we call and they say they won’t be able to have anyone out till the afternoon and that they were going to send Don - after us explicitly stating he is not to come to our house again for anything. There is a lot wrong with this company but the fact that you can talk to multiple different techs, schedulers and managers and they all tell you something different should be concerning enough. We also had our water heater replaced for a little over 1k and they quoted us over 3k. Much better places out there.
We are very disgusted. We had a variable furnace and AC installed, and Quality of North Canton has been out 3 separate times to look at it. They spend hours looking at it. They want to come out a fourth time. We are done with this variable hvac system. The control module, ux360, is defective, and they are having problems with them. Mom cried during the winter due to the system not turning on. It would get as cold as 68 degrees in the family room and kitchen when we have it set for 74. We would wait for two hours or more for the system to "kick" on as they say. That is ridiculous. When the system does decide to turn on, it runs for hours to catch up, and then the bedrooms are 80 degrees. It does not want to then shut off. We sweat at night and can’t sleep well. We want our money back, but they are refusing to refund us. I will be making a complaint to the Attorney General next and BBB. I will not make any more payments to Wells Fargo for this shit system. It was 23,000 and it does not work right. It also goes into a "waiting" mode where it never turns on. I have to go downstairs to turn off the breaker and force a hard reboot. I shouldn't have to do that. They promised a new control module on their third trip to our home, and never came back to install one. I just want a refund. I'm tired of Quality's run around. Obviously they don't want to lose a sale. The whole reason I bought the variable furnace and AC was that it was high efficiency and I was told that being variable, it would run at slower speeds all day, to keep the home consistently hot or cold. The Point of Irony... if it never turns on I don't have to pay for electricity for the AC or natural gas to run the furnace, and, therefore I am saving money by it not running. It is also consistently going into a "waiting" mode or not "kicking" on for hours in the winter time. It is consistent, but consistently awful. That is not how I thought I would be saving money or keeping my home not comfortable. ironic. Isn't it? If you are going to buy Trane, do not get their variable system, it is terrible. What is the Trane "waiting" on or for? I do not know, but I do know that I am "waiting" on a refund from Quality. They do have a money back guarantee, which is why I bought from them, but they don't honor that. They argue with you over it instead. We feel the fourth time coming out is ridiculous. And failing to deliver the parts promised is also ridiculous. Let's do the honest thing Quality and refund us. Thank you.

We had an air conditioner tune-up and while doing that, the technician Josh S. noticed a crack in the heat exchanger. He was very patient about explaining everything to us and the different options we had. Since that crack meant Carbon Monoxide would escape and our furnace was older we decided to replace it. Josh also took the time to check all of our Carbon Monoxide detectors. We were able to make an appointment that same day with a project manager, Quentin, who also was very knowledgeable. He offered us a few different options and explained everything thoroughly. They were running a special where they had add ons you could get for free, which was good and we took advantage of the financing option. We had our new furnace installed the very next day by Donny and Collin, who were very polite and hard workers. They did a great job and cleaned everything up. They also leveled our outside air conditioning unit, which we appreciated. Overall a great job!
I had routine maintenance done for my water heater by Thomas H. and he did a fantastic job! He was very friendly and thorough when completing the job. He was also very knowledgeable when answering my questions. I will definitely be using Quality Heating and Cooling and requesting Thomas to complete any future work!
