Dear Owners of Gridiron Guys,
I am writing to express our sincere appreciation for the exceptional service we received
throughout our recent project. Every member of your team demonstrated professionalism,
skill, and a genuine commitment to quality, and we are truly grateful for the experience.
Our salesman, Dan Thoburn, set the tone from the very beginning. He was knowledgeable,
patient, and attentive, making sure we understood our options and felt confident in our
decisions. His guidance made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
Project Manager Dave Siegel continued that same level of excellence. His communication,
organization, and follow-through were outstanding. Dave kept everything on track and
ensured that every detail was handled with care.
We also want to recognize the Installation Crew for their impressive work ethic. They were
punctual, respectful, and dedicated, and the quality of their craftsmanship shows in every
part of the finished project.
Additionally, Russ and his assistant, who installed our heating cables, did an exceptional
job. They were professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with.
Each person we interacted with, including the office staff, represented Gridiron Guys in the
best possible way. Please extend our gratitude to the entire team. We are extremely
satisfied with the results and deeply appreciative of the effort and care that went into this
project.

I cannot imagine a more trusted company!! Josh and Gridiron Guys (& gal) went above and beyond for us and gave us back almost $1000 on our job, that we never even asked for or expected!!!
In addition to exceeding all expectations for a company like this, who does this in this day and age?! They did drywall for ceilings and walls, painting, and new floors, in 4 rooms, so it was a huge job!!!
They said they over estimated the cost of the project and that we were getting that money back. I was floored!! Anyhow, I cannot thank them enough for the beautiful job they did and for being so honest!! I refer everyone to them that asks! I will be posting this on my Facebook page as well. Such nice people, worked very hard every day, in time for the holidays last year for us too! Thank you all so much!!!

We had to repair the siding on our home and Parker helped us every step of the way. It was a long process as it was an insurance claim. He is extremely knowledgeable and helped us with pictures, videos, and gave us the support and advice we needed throughout the claim process. I can't say enough great things about Gridiron!

To say that we had a bad experience is putting it lightly, I think. TLDR, we reached out in June 2025 and the job was started 10/13. All said and done we washed our hands of Gridiron 12/11.
10/13 - around 8am, the GM calls because the materials we selected back in August are now out of stock. We quickly make new selections that are in stock. Crew arrives around 10am and starts demo. Demo takes longer than planned (no fault of the crew, the previous homeowner had installed the shower OVER the original shower tile), and the crew lets us know it will take an additional day to finish the project. Day 2 goes without a hitch.
10/15 Around 10am, I needed to step out of the living space where I have been working remotely throughout this project. I did not leave my home, I went into a bedroom and closed the door for some privacy for approximately 30 minutes. Inexplicably, the tub surround was ripped out and a third crewperson arrives with an entirely different surround that takes the rest of the day to install. When I asked if everything was okay, the crew said yes, everything was fine. At the end of the day, the crew let me know that they chose to swap out the tub surround we selected because they "didn't like how it stuck out." This third surround has no shelving built into the corners like the surrounds we initially chose. Built-in shelving was important to us because it is easier to keep clean than the removable shelves. But don't worry! The shelves can be ordered (they were out of stock, go figure, so we didn't have shelves for approximately 4 weeks). Drywall gets started, but not finished, and the crew needs a 4th day. The project has doubled in length. Additionally, the crew noticed there will be a significant gap (3/4in - 1in in spots) near the ceiling from where the old shower surround ceiling met the wall. Discussed some options, including adding trim to cover, and I told the crew they were clear to do what they thought best once the drywall went in. We were advised by the GM during our consult to leave the fiberglass ceiling of the old surround because removing it would mean the bathroom ceiling would need to be retextured entirely.
10/16 - crew arrives to work on final plumbing. Drywall & mud takes about 3 hours and they leave around 2pm, letting me know I would need to sand the walls once the mud was dry and they would return when the shelves were in. My husband calls the GM to discuss why the surround was replaced with a different style without first asking us, GM states that he was told by another GM (who was actually assigned to our project) that the crew damaged the surround that was installed and it needed to be replaced. Reminder that I was told everything was fine and the crew replaced it because it "stuck out."
We would not have replaced our walk-in shower if we didn't need a place to bathe our child easier. We opted to contract this project out because we needed it to be done quickly and done well. The quality of work is disappointing to say the least. The crew decided to caulk the excess gap between the ceiling and the wall, it cracked in days, and there's no way for me to even paint it to look like there isn't an inch of caulk ringing my ceiling. There were caulk and mud drips everywhere, the gap between the surround walls and the top of the tub wasn't caulked at all and has been difficult to keep clean because water, of course, runs down the wall and gathers between them and there's not enough space for a towel or sponge to fit. Can I in good conscience recommend this company? No, I can't. And as a homeowner, it's so disappointing and frustrating to have spent nearly $6k on a job after all your research and you choose a company with over a 4.5-star rating and then they churn out a job that looks like we did it ourselves and then on top of that, have to figure out how to make it look better because it's our home. I'm embarrassed to have people use our bathroom, but it's the only full bath in the house. We'd just like to know, is this a job that they would have been proud of in their own homes?
