  My first time experience with Shanklin HVAC. Extreme heat outside with A/C blower not functioning. They put me on their “urgent” list and luckily had a tech named Tyler show up a full 24 hours before his scheduled time. HVAC is less than 4 years old. Original installation company was not able to respond quickly or get the new motor quickly, they actually suggested using Shanklin and happy we did. Motor was shipped from PA and installed immediately when it arrived in Massillon. Great front office staff and NEVER once had to leave a voicemail, always spoke with a live person, a rarity these days. Tyler, our tech was very professional and knowledgeable. He wuickly diagnosed a motor problem and even offered no service call charge while I doubled checked with original installation HVAC company if they could do the work. The original installation company ultimately suggested Shanklin stating they are well respected and it would be quicker if Shanklin did the work. I took their advice. I have the utmost respect for the original installation HVAC company and now even more for Shanklin! Thanks Tyler, Becky and others I spoke with on the phone at Shanklin!

  Gabriel was very informative. He answered all my questions and concerns regarding my A/C unit. I have a dog and she likes to greet any repair person that comes to my house and he was great with her. I highly recommend this company.

  Gabriel was absolutely amazing. He put my mother in law (who lives with us) at ease while he was at our home. Our A/C went out on a day with extreme heat warnings. I got a call from her while we were on vacation. After having a quote over the phone from Crown Heating and Cooling for a “bandaid” fix that would cost me $3,750!! Or a “premium” fix that would cost me $7-8000 on our 10 year old furnace. (IT WAS A BLOWER MOTOR NEEDING REPLACED) At first, I panicked. Then I remembered a friend who recommended Shanklin. I have always used Fry Heating and Cooling and have always been happy with their service. Unfortunately, we are now out of their service area. Shanklin filled their shoes perfectly. Their “premium” fix was a fraction of the cost. Gabriel worked well into the evening with a grateful and comical heart, making my 82 year old mother in law’s entire week. She was literally so hot, she was sick. Gabriel could have said he would get the part the next day. We called told them the situation and he was there within the hour at the tail end of his day!! He worked tirelessly into the night so my mother in law would have restored health in our home. I can’t be more grateful to this company!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

  The installation team called before arrival and we’re on time. All three guys introduced themselves, they were very polite and professional. After laying tarps down and carpet runner they went to work. After the install and testing Nate reviewed everything and asked if we had any questions. They cleaned up both inside and out and put things back as they found them. I highly recommend Shanklin!!!

  Excellent service! The technicians came out within an hour of my call, were friendly, considerate, diagnosed the problem immediately, and explained what was needed. They also identified something else that needed addressed and fixed on the spot. Couldn’t be more happy with the service provided.
