Brian detected the leak was from the obsolete water softener, removed it and installed new water shut off valve. I was unsure how to rate the price, but I’m sure it was extremely reasonable if not very good, considering all the work he had to do. The amount I paid not only included today’s detection, repair, but also signing up for your Carebear program for a year, which I am sure is going to be well worth it. Brian did a great job, cleaned up things well and is not only knowledgeable but very good at explaining what was going on with the Plumbing. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

The job required more work then i thought it would. The previous owner of house had basicially put a band aide on it. The flange for the toilet had to be to replaced. The toilet moved and sat about an inch off the floor. The previous owner had 3 flanges on top of each other. That caused the toilet to be unstable. Apex removed all the flanges and installed the correct flange, now toilet sits flat on floor .Thank you Randy

Would give negative stars if I could. When I called to schedule an appointment, they asked what I needed done. I told them that I needed plumbing removed in my basement, as I was doing remodeling and needed to remove some cabinets that are connected to a sink. My appointment was set for Friday from 1-6. I took off work at noon that day to be there in case they showed up at 1pm. I got a text at 2:35pm that my service technician Chad was on his way and was 30-45 minutes out. I checked in at 3:45pm to see if my technician was lost, because the GPS typically takes people past my house, and was told my technician was on the way, but no ETA was available. At 4pm, a different technician showed up instead. Not sure what happened to Chad, but okay. New guy asked what I needed done. I explained again that I am needing to get the cabinets removed, and need the pipes removed so I can do that (See notes on invoice). He immediately suggested that I just turn off the main water valve and leave it off, that would solve my issue. I explained that this is my primary residence. I cannot just leave the water shut off. If I thought that was a viable option, why would I have called a plumber rather than just shutting off the water. He then said that he wasn’t going to have the appropriate supplies for the job. What was the point in providing my reason for service if they were not going to bring the appropriate supplies? He went to his truck and decided that he did have what he needed. He quoted me $221.00 to remove the water lines under the sink and to remove the pipes connected to the cabinets. He stated that there was not an option for that on the invoice, so he would list it as a PVC repair. He assured me that would include removing all the plumbing that existed under the sink. He took photographs of everything and got to work. When he called me back downstairs to let me know he was finished, the only thing he had removed was the water lines. All the other pipes were left. I asked about the other plumbing that was left, because we still cannot remove the cabinets. He said that they are connected to other pipes throughout the house, and he cannot remove them without rerouting the plumbing. I feel that if he knew that he couldn’t complete the job, he should have been up front with me. He then launched into his opinion on the state of my home and that it would never be able to resell. I don’t plan to resell my house, I never said a word about selling my home. I never asked for his opinion about it. I felt it was extremely rude for him to tell me that my house was in bad shape. I’m literally trying to fix it. I truly think he saw a young woman and thought he could treat me like an idiot and take advantage of the situation. So at the end of it all, I wrote him a check to get him out of my home and called the company immediately to let them know that the job was not complete. They said their customer advocate had left for the day and that she would call me back on Monday. I received a call on Monday from the customer advocate, and she had me explain the situation to her. She asked what resolution I am hoping for. I stated that I would either like a partial refund or for someone to come out and finish what I asked them to do. She said that she would take everything back to the manager and the technician and they would come up with a solution. Today, Tuesday, I received a callback from the same customer advocate, who informed me that they had decided to not refund or send someone out without charging me. They made this decision because they could not say for sure what was discussed between the technician and I. Even though it was printed directly on the invoice sent to me. Extremely disappointing. I am in contact with my attorney for this. The invoice says 5 star guarantee, it’s upsetting that their idea of a resolution is to do nothing at all. I thought the price of $221 was a little high for removing plumbing, but I now feel it is robbery to charge me that for the little work that he did and not do anything to fix it. Not much of a guarantee.

Charles Benners did an awesome job fixing my Ductwork that came apart. He was friendly, professional, and was pretty fast while still doing the job well. Also Apex was the only company willing to come out and see if they can fix it. I called several other companies and automatically said they could have a tech come give a quote but the repairs would be Monday if I schedule an appointment. Apex Pros where the only ones willing to come out same day to repair the ductwork. Allowing me to have working a/c again without the air being blown into the attic. Not to mention a good price for a same day emergency weekend repair. Thank you Apex Pros and thank you Charles Benners!

Removal of old furnace and installation of new heating and cooling system at 1276 Robbins Run Ct, Dayton OH 45458. Date 6/9/2026. Technicians began at 10 a.m. and worked until 7:30 p.m. One team began the work and another team joined later to see that the project was completed in one day. The installers were knowledgeable, hard working, and friendly. They provided answers to questions in a friendly and thorough manner. Before leaving Josh made sure that both owners and tenant knew how to operate the new system both doors and out. The system which was recommended and installed ultimately proved to be easy to use. Josh remained at the site until all questions were asked and the invoice was sent to an owner's cell phone for printing. We were very impressed with the courteousness of the installers, how well the area was cleaned and trash removed from the work areas. We would highly recommend Apex Pros for the job well done, and the Lennox products which were recommended and installed. Stanley and Brenda Bear
