Contracted with Apex Pros to scope location and flush the underground portion of the gutters/drainage on my house. I was very pleased with the prompt response and with the quality of the work done by Jason and Mike. Very thorough job and they both took the time to explain everything to me in detail. An excellent experience. Highly recommend.

The Tech. Jahammond was great. Made no mess. Very courteous and knowledgeable. He did great. Parts he said I needed were way overpriced. $380 for a $15 part. Would have gave more stars but the parts were WAY overpriced. I checked pricing on parts after the tech. left. Felt robbed.

Mr. Barney arrived on time and immediately went to work repairing our kitchen sink's faulty plumbing problem - improper pipe installation by another company. We are repeat customers with Apex Pros for over two years now. It started with a Lennox two-stage gas furnace and Lennox total-home air conditioner in 2025. Mr. Barney over the past several months has installed a new 40 gallon water heater, repaired a leaking refrigerator ice maker water line and fixed our main toliet not flushing properly. He is very professional and is very respectful of our home.

We were not happy to find that none of our faucets were working in our house. We called Apex because we had heard the radio commercial so many times that we figured we'd give them a try. The operator, Misty, was very friendly and helpful and sent a tech our way within an hour or so. When Abdul Ayoub arrived at our house, he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and very patiently went over our options with us. I also feel the need to mention that he was very kind about our situation with some clutter in the house and our loud dogs. Are plumbing in our basement is difficult to get to because it is basically an unfinished basement with a crawl space and it is not lit. He was also very patient about that. He observed the situation as well as the wellhead in our yard and then carefully went over our options with us. The next day he returned to do the repairs as promised and he was done with the whole system repair within a few hours. He is one of the nicest contractors I've ever had over at the house for anything. The 0% financing program is extremely helpful to us as well because this was a very expensive and unexpected repair on our old home. We will highly recommend Apex and Abdul to anyone needing services!

Giving two stars for the friendliness of the tech and the next day service we received on the weekend, but the remainder of our experience was poor. Our cooling went out on a Friday and we were able to get an appointment for Saturday. The tech was on time, friendly and talked through what he thought was going on with our system. He changed our capacitor and did some light cleaning on the condenser unit outside. This service was done quickly. Nearly $400 for a capacitor seemed exorbitant, but it was a weekend and our house was approaching 85 degrees, so I was willing to pay it. He then read off some numbers that he tested regarding the refrigerant in our system. He proceeded to tell me that our refrigerant was low and that we needed 4 pounds of it at $736 a pound. Not only did we "need" this, but we also "needed" the leak test to go along with it for another $737. So, $3681 for a "repair" on a 20-year-old system. Once he left, 4 hours passed and our home hadn't cooled off a single degree. I walked out to the condenser to see if anything had changed before calling them back out...the condenser fan was sucking air rather than blowing air. I called another company out because I was already suspicious of the prices and quoted potential work. First, they told me that had I done the capacitor service with them they would have charged me $175 instead of $396. This company then wired the capacitor correctly and checked our refrigerant for us based on my request and what Apex told me. OUR REFRIGERANT WAS OVERCHARGED. And even if it was low they would have charged around $200 a pound versus Apex's $736. He showed me the numbers on his meter, explained what they meant and assured us we were overcharged on R22 refrigerant and that we don't have a leak. He also checked the numbers that Apex gave and I later I ran those numbers through AI - both of which confirmed that those numbers reflected a system that was slightly overcharged. The wiring was a simple mistake I'm sure, that I can live with. But the exorbitant prices ($396 vs $175 for capacitor, $736 vs $200 for refrigerant) and outright exploitative, rapacious quote they gave me to fix a non-existent issue on a 20-year-old unit are outrageous. This type of behavior, in my opinion, can only be a reflection of bad business in which they are targeting the consumer by charging more than makes sense so they can then sell them on a newer system. I will never call on Apex for any service again, and I will be sure to inform friends and family about this experience.
