  Kyle was great he knew what to do and how to do it. I appreciate that I was able to get the repair done the same day that I called. I was expecting a charge of $200. to $300. I wasn’t expecting over $500. From what I found at the local hardware store the parts he used would have been about $50. I understand that the company needs to make money this just seemed too high to me.

  Dylan came to our house to do an estimate. He was professional, kind, and answered all my questions thoroughly. He even put a shoe cover on so as to not track dirt from outside! I thought that little detail was already a testament to the company’s professionalism. Ellie also followed up via text and showed me what our options are. That is very much appreciated. Unfortunately at this time, we have decided to proceed with a different route. But from these interactions alone, I highly recommend this company as I feel like you will be in good hands. I will definitely reach out again if we have to get things done in the future. Thank you!

  Called to see about having a tech come out to diagnose a poorly functioning water heater. The person I spoke with answered the phone as "Five Star Home Services," which felt a bit like a bait and switch, as I thought I was calling Fairborn Drain and Plumbing. (I guess they got bought out?) Anyway, I was informed it was a $99 service fee just to send someone out, and any repairs would be in addition to that fee. If I wanted an estimate on replacing my water heater, I could text photos to them of my current heater and setup. They did not offer an in-person estimate option. I called another company out of Fairborn that would send someone out for free to diagnose my current issue and give me an estimate on repairs and also replacing the heater. I went ahead and texted Five Star so I could compare prices. Five Star was more expensive with a lesser quality brand of water heater. I replied to the texter the next day and said I was going with another company. Even after that, I got more texts and also a phone call asking me if I wanted to take them up on their estimate.
