We needed a faucet installed. We had seen Amanda Plumbing trucks around the area and looked up their website. We found out that they were women and veteran owned. Our call for service was quickly scheduled. The technicians were friendly and began work immediately. A half an hour later, the faucet was installed. The cost was reasonable.

Very satisified with my recent service from Tyler and Amanda Plumbing. He installled a year-round outdoor faucet and basement shut-off valve, after I got a price from Amanda Plumbing. He also got a bathroom sink drain open quickly. No pressure to buy other services I didn't want. Highly recommend.

Amanda plumbing came very quickly to fix a clouged kitchen drain, for which I was very thankful. They were very professional in their demeanor and was very thorough in completing the job. They also made sure the work area was clean, when they left. We have used Amanda plumbing for years and are always satisfied with their work.

This is a review of Amanda Plumbing, date of service April 15, 2026. The job was two sink faucet set replacements, replacement of a Roman tub faucet and handles with a trim kit, and replacement of the tub stopper. Regarding the Roman tub, the plumbing supply company told me that it would be a fairly simple switch out of the faucet and handles, as I was replacing Moen with Moen. Nothing needed to be done with the "internals". I didn't even have to turn off the water. Amanda told me over the phone that they figured it would take one hour for each sink faucet set replacement and I thought this was appropriate, as I've had this done before. The plumber took one hour and 45 minutes for each sink and I thought this was quite excessive. Regarding the Roman tub, he said that the new faucet handles had different stems then the old ones so he couldn't switch them out. He said I needed to contact my plumbing supply company for a different faucet set. Regarding the tub stopper, he said that he worked for 15 minutes but he couldn't get the old stopper to budge. He would have to cut it out. As he had already been at my home for four hours ($175/hour) he recommended that he stop work at that point and come back again after I had obtained the correct Roman tub trim kit. After he left I found a youtube video on switching out Moen tub faucets and handles. What I had was fine but I needed a "stem extension kit", which I purchased on Amazon for $18. Don't you think a plumber would know about extension kits? I know nothing about plumbing, but by following this video (and using the extension kit) I switched out my tub faucet and handles in 15 minutes. Regarding the stopper that "wouldn't budge and needed to be cut out", I again found a youtube video with people removing tub stoppers with a "tub drain extractor tool". I ordered this from Amazon for $16. Using this and a wrench I had the old stopper out of my tub in under 5 minutes, and I am 70 years old and not in great physical shape. Work done by Amanda: replacement of two sink faucet sets. Invoice: $748.92. Addendum: The owner of Amanda called me after this review was posted and I was very impressed with him. He apologized for my experience and reimbursed a good portion of my invoice. He even gave me his personal cell phone number. I am very pleased with how he resolved this issue.

I hired Amanda Plumbing to install a new Hot Water Heater and also a whole-house Automatic Water Shutoff (AWSO) Valve. The technician (Charles) who came out to my house was punctual, pleasant, and thoroughly professional. I was very pleased with the quality of the installation for both the Hot Water Heater and the AWSO valve. He even installed a carbon monoxide detector near the Water Heater. I already have plenty of CO detectors, but I thought this was a very nice touch. I did have the Hot Water heater inspected and permitted by my local city building department. The inspector was impressed with the quality of work and gave me an approval on the spot.
