  While Kevin contacted us promptly through my son's home warranty company, he went to my son's house, claimed it was a simple issue. Then he halfway fixed it, but caused the unit to arch and trip the disconnect breaker. He told my son, over the phone, the homeowner, he had to go to another appointment, and that he should buy the needed part and ge would return the next day. He did not. After texting, three weeks later, he asked for a windows of 1 to 3pm. I was told meet him. At 12:45, J received a text saying job was completed. I called and told him I was minutes away. He refused to return, and told me I could install the disconnect myself. I was doubtful, and as I arrived, I noted he had not replaced a fuse. I called again and he insisted I could do it (!?) then ghosted me for 4 hours. I called the Warranty Company to explain nothing was working and he then immediately started texting me and my son what I can only explain as lies and rudeness at 11pm at night! He canceled our service request and threatened to have us arrested for "harassment ". Through my contact with my son's warrsnty company, a 2nd contractor from a different organization was assigned and came within 24 hours. Kevin had wired the unit incorrectly between 220 and 110. He had lied about all of what he did, and what he expected us to do. This Buckeye contractor did not want anyone around, which is highly suspicious. If we could give zero stars we would. Unprofessional. Rude. Called my son a tennant and lied about what he had serviced. Literally miswired 110 and 220, and expected the homeowner to do his work. Highly Suspicious behavior. DO NOT USE

  I had a great experience with Buckeye Refrigeration and can’t recommend Jeff enough. My old Pepsi vending machine had stopped cooling, and Jeff came out to troubleshoot the issue. He quickly identified the problem and walked me through several repair options at different price points, which I really appreciated. I decided to go with a brand new compressor, and it was absolutely the right call—the machine is now running like new and should last for years. Jeff was professional, friendly, and very communicative throughout the process. He came out twice—once to diagnose and once to install the new compressor—and kept me informed every step of the way. What really stood out was his follow-up call after the job to make sure everything was still holding temperature. That level of service is rare. I’d highly recommend him for any refrigeration needs.
