  My sump pump failed, and my basement flooded and had approximately 4 inches of standing water. I called Atherton after hours on Thursday evening and was able to get an appointment for Friday afternoon. George arrived, took a look, had an estimate ready in a few minutes, and had a new sump pump installed quickly and all the water was drained within an hour. George answered all of my questions and was incredibly kind and courteous. I will ask for George if I need a technician in the future! He said an unpleasant situation a bit better with his efficient work & kindness. He even advised me on what I should get checked, in regards to my partially submerged appliances. Thank you Atherton & a HUGE thank you to George!

  Anthony & Gabe came to replace our sump pump. They were very friendly & prompt. They evaluated the the situation & gave me 3 options to pick from. They quickly replaced the pump and were on their way. Did a great job !!!

  Atherton was very responsive and had someone out within the hour for an emergency leak. The price was on the higher side of what I consider reasonable, but justifiable under the circumstances. I was presented options and the rationale behind each, and the work was completed in a timely fashion. I would trust again in a crisis.

  Atherton’s Plumbing has been our choice for multiple plumbing projects for several years. We trust them to complete the job with professionalism, courtesy and affordability. Today, Ryan and Dalton checked our drains and installed a new toilet. While they were here, Ryan scheduled the installation of a new dishwasher, removal of a garbage disposal and installation of a new kitchen sink faucet for next Tuesday. We are impressed with their knowledge, skills and integrity and we highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs. Edited on 08/13/26: Many thanks to Nathan, for his conscientiousness and persistence in completing all of our plumbing tasks in one afternoon, on 08/11/26, one of the wettest days this year. He made several trips to his truck and was soaked to the bone, but kept his positive attitude. He removed the garbage disposal, installed a new kitchen faucet, installed a new dishwasher and replaced a flapper in the half bath toilet tank, (which was an additional request from us after he arrived.) Fortunately, Nathan had a flapper in his truck, which required yet another trip out in the rain. (Sorry, Nathan!) We can’t thank Nathan enough for his perseverance, determination and exceptional quality of his work. We absolutely would recommend Atherton Plumbing again and again! Five stars! On 08/13/26, Ryan and Masen cleaned the main drain and all of the interior drains. Since we have an older house (1968) we wanted to be sure that the new washer and dishwasher, toilets, kitchen sink and bathtub would drain properly. Ryan and Masen worked on all the drains until they were satisfied with the results. We also discussed liner installation for the pipes in the yard. Another great job by Ryan and Masen! Thank you, Atherton Team for your hard work!

  I appreciated the friendliness of Erin on my initial call. Cost for initial non-emergency visit was reasonable around $40 and they price by the job not hourly. The first person sent out could but do the repair (toilet leaking). Sent George a more experienced plumber and his apprentice Tony. They were very friendly and personable. Focused on assessment and solutions to my issue. Unfortunately the cost of the job was way more than I anticipated to repair a toilet leak in a home over 100 yrs old (over $3500). The rating would have been 5 stars had it been less expensive. Atherton is now owned by Waterworks for anyone interested in knowing that info.
