    I called in my issue Monday evening to Joe and by Tuesday morning Joe put me in contact with their dispatch (Micah, I’m probably botching that spelling). She was more than kind and quick. Shortly after, Alex the tech was at our house! I am talking all before 9am. He dove right in, was extremely easy to talk to, navigated the house and unit with ease, a unit I might add that did not originally come from apex. Maybe 2 hours later at best Alex called me, best case scenario it was the capacitor, already had it running the price was more than acceptable. No upsells said the rest of the unit was good. I instantly signed up for their care bear plan. Seasonal checks are critical and again had the previous place I was using done their job they should have very likely caught that failing cap. I should add as well, I did my fair share of ranting on all the issues we have had from our previous HVAC Company and not once did they reduce to defaming their competition, they just focused on the issue at hand. I look forward to doing all my business with Joe, Micah, and Alex at APEX, and their care bear plan offers so much more! Thanks team

    First off, they were supposed to come on Friday from 8:00-1:00. Around 11:00 they said it was going to be at least after 1:00-2:00 before they would get there. I had already been waiting up since 8:00am for them to get there and I told them I had somewhere to be that afternoon after 1:00. The text messages continued and they literally would not get it through their head that I could not do after 1:00 on Friday. Finally, the person said they could come on Monday between 4:00-6:00. Then comes Monday and I continue to get text messages throughout the day about the appointment and at one point it was 2:00pm and they said they were on the way, AFTER I ALREADY TOLD THEM I DID NOT GET OFF AND HOME TILL 4:00! The worker got there before 4:00 and left by 4:40. I literally asked for a quote over the phone and they said they couldn’t give me one but when the person comes that they could give me a FREE ESTIMATE. Come to find out, they will still charge you no matter what even if you don’t do the service for a FREE ESTIMATE. We were totally ripped off for the price even though he said he “gave us a discount”. To change a small freeze pipe for an outside spigot should not have been $761. The worker was rushing through it since he said we were the last call of the day and he was ready to get home. Also he did not even put the silicone back around the spigot as he told us he would so the spigot is very loose and I am afraid it is going to eventually just bust the pipe from the movement of turn off and on the spigot. Honestly wish I could just get my money back at this point because this was just not a good experience and pretty much felt pressured into doing the service since we were going to be charged for them to come out and give an estimate.

    Paid $29 for Apex Pros’ “complete” HVAC tune-up on 6/22/2026, advertised as including multi-point inspection, performance testing, and safety checks. The invoice only documents checking operation, securing the blower motor, wiring, coils, and drain — nothing about the capacitor or refrigerant charge. Just 10 days later, on 7/2/2026, the dual run capacitor failed. A different company diagnosed and replaced it. Looking back, the capacitor — the exact part that failed — isn’t mentioned anywhere in the tune-up paperwork: no visual inspection, no capacitance (MFD) test against its 50/5 rating. There’s also no documented refrigerant/gauge check, despite “performance testing” being part of what was advertised. I’m not saying a capacitor failing 10 days later is automatically their fault — they can fail unexpectedly. But the one component that did fail wasn’t checked as part of this “complete” tune-up, as far as the paperwork shows. For $29 or $149, I’d expect at least a capacitor and refrigerant check to be part of a real tune-up.

    0 stars. Horrible customer service. I had an appointment set for yesterday morning in Cincinnati and got a text from them when they were supposed to be here that they had canceled me due to other people's emergencies. I called and he was rude and rescheduled me for Monday. Someone else came out and fixed it this morning so I again called the number that texted me and got an AI that didn't understand me, then hung up on me. I called again and it just wanted the tech to explain the benefits of being a member! There is also a mixup as there is another Apex hvac company in Franklin who I just spoke to and they are not affiliated with this mess.

    Apex Pros did an outstanding job installing our new Lennox heat pump. Daegan VanEperen and his coworker arrived right on time at 9:00 a.m. and worked steadily until the job was finished. They were professional, courteous, and respectful of our home from start to finish. We had used Apex Pros in February to repair a water leak from a frozen pipe. They were the only company that could come out the same day we called them, and they did a good job. We decided they would be the company we would use for house repairs, and when our 10-year-old Trane heat pump gave up the ghost in early June, we called Apex. Before beginning the installation, they put down carpet protectors, and when they were done, they cleaned up both inside and outside so well that it looked like they had never been here. Throughout the day, the two installers kept us informed of their progress and answered our questions. At the end of the day, Daegan took the time to explain how the heat pump controls worked. Overall, Apex Pros did an A+ job, and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing, electrical, heating, or air conditioning services.
