I called and scheduled for a drain cam to inspection to find out why my sewer was backing up. I also wanted then to give me an estimate on a new furnace and AC unit as mine needs to be replaced. I called after booking an appointment to get a better idea on what the cost would for a drain cam and to make sure they knew I also wanted an hvac estimate. I could not speak to a real person, but the AI bot they use for their customer service said that all costs would be explained up front and that there would be no service or trip fees for coming out. They also added notes about the hvac.
When the technician arrived he was friendly and explained that he was only the drain guy. He said he would first need to use the hydro jet to clear the blockage before the cam could be used to assess the damage. I agreed to pay for the hydro jet and camera. The hydro jet could not bust through the blockage all the way. The technician called the camera technician to come out. He also ley me know that someone would be out later today to provide a quote for the hvac work. The camera technician arrived and was was not as friendly, but he showed me on the screen where the blockage was and said that my line would need dug up and replaced and that I was looking at a $12,000.00 job. I thanked him for the information and asked how far out blockage was. I said that I would like to call an get some additional estimates. He said no problem about me wanting to get additional estimates, but that he was not going to tell me where in the line the blockage was just for someone else to come out. I disagreed with that since it was my understanding that I was paying for a hydro jet + cam inspection service. Refusing to tell me how far out the camera was, after I had already paid $500 is not good business. Especially from a company claiming to provide 5 star service. I told both technicians that they could go ahead and pack up then if they were refusing to tell me where the problem was. I also told them to go ahead cancel the hvac estimate appt.
I then tried to call Apex to speak with someone. I could not speak with a real person. I had to basically leave a message with their AI bot. I also sent an email asking for someone to contact me.
2 hours later I get a phone call from Apex. I thought it was to discuss my concerns, but no, it was to confirm that a tech was coming out to write an estimate for a new hvac. I said no, and explained to the caller what had happened earlier and that I asked for this appt be canceled.
You can thank your camera technician for losing my business that would have potentially been $25k+ in sales all because he refused to tell me the location of the blockage.
I will not recommend your company to anyone.

TL;DR: Subpar work, subpar communication, subpar customer service
Apex completed a plumbing project at our residence in July 2026. We had asked for the water lines and drains to be replaced in our 100+ year old house, in addition to installing a new toilet, bathroom vanity, and bathtub in our upstairs bathroom. Overall this cost around $30k.
I reached out regarding issues with the work done to our home. Pictures are attached. The bathtub install was crooked, with the shower surround not attached to the bathtub on the faucet side. The faucet on the vanity was completely loose, able to be picked up, and spinning. The techs who installed the bathtub did not put down any protective tarp on the floor, leading to the coating on the floor peeling up.
I reached out to customer service. The woman I spoke with told me she would look into it and get back with me. A week later, I called to follow up, and she informed me that the person she needed to speak with would be out for another week. She did end up sending someone out to look at the home- they took pictures and said their scheduling person would be in touch with me. Another week passed, so I called and spoke with customer service who put me in touch with the scheduler.
A tech team did come to my home and tighten the faucet. The tech did also repair the bathtub, which involved tearing it completely out, releveling it, and reinstalling it over two visits. This tech informed me that someone was supposed to be in touch regarding the flooring repairs. Several days passed, and I received no contact from Apex, so I called again. This time I was informed someone was scheduled to come to my home on 8/24/26 to look at the floors. I asked when someone was going to let me know this was already scheduled, was told the plumbing department has been very busy of late and is trying to fit me in.
For spending thousands of dollars, I would expect work to be done correctly, and better customer service and communication than was received. I don't feel that it is good customer service to have to repeatedly reach out regarding issues. Nor do I think it is right for the company to "try to fit in" a customer who had multiple issues with their project; it seems like it would be better for the company to correctly complete existing projects/finish repairs before taking on new projects.
Was the work completed in a timely manner? Sure. Did they come back and fix the bathtub and faucets? Yep. Am I still waiting on someone to talk to me about the damage to my floors? Absolutely. Was all of this more of a hassle than it should have been for the amount of money spent? For sure.

Horrible experience. I scheduled them to do an air duct cleaning at an apartment. They said they could send someone out the next morning between 8-12. I asked if they could provide me a quote over the phone like a lot of the other air duct cleaning companies do and they said the technician would quote once on site.
First thing in the morning, I get a text message that the technician is running late, but they would be on their way soon. Midday I get a text message saying that they would be there between 1-4pm. Then around 3:45 I get a call that the technician is finishing up another job and wanted to see if I still wanted him to come out or come out the next morning. I chose the next Morning as I may not have staff onsite that late in the day.
The next morning, the technician comes out and Tells us that the apartment needs an entire furnace clean, not just the ducts. I declined the $1200 Furnace clean and just reiterated I wanted the air ducts clean. He proceeds to tell me that they don’t have the tools necessary to clean the air ducts and that they get it from a third-party company and it wouldn’t be available until the following week. This would not work for me as we had a move-in within a couple of days occurring.
He gives me a quote to clean the air ducts, which is about $100 more than Stanley steamer and then wants us to pay the service fee. As I was not on site during this time, my staff member paid the $200 service call.
I’ve been called Apex to let them know how unhappy I was and that I would’ve been better off calling Stanley steamer. They escalate my call and I hear from somebody else and I tell them the story. They even tell me someone will call me within 1 to 2 days, which never happened surprise.
Other than wasting my time, I’m upset that we had to pay a service call when the technician wasn’t even prepared to do the work. They would not give me a quote over the phone. They told me that I could only get a quote once they’re on site. So I assume when they come on site, they give me a quote and would do the work. Since they weren’t even prepared, they couldn’t do the work so why did I have to pay a $200 service call fee?

I had to leave 1 star but truthfully they deserve 0. We had Apex come out on early 2025 to install a brand new hvac system in a remodel we are working on. We paid them almost $19,000.00 for their work & financed the system thru a company they hooked us up with. This summer when we went to fire up the a/c the system did not work. I called Apex & was advised we are a DO NOT SERVICE property. I asked why? They said there is an attorney involved. News to us, don't know what they are referencing. Called Premier Program who is taking a monthly payment for 1.5 years now. We do a three way call to see if they can get service set up. Apex again denies us service because of a legal issue between them & Premier. I called an outside HVAC company to come see what the issue is with a/c. Needless to say another $1000.00 later. The outside a/c unit wasn't communicating with the inside unit. Irregardless of what their legal issues are with another company & from my understanding the install was not to go forward until Premier gave the go ahead. That shouldn't effect a brand new install that wasn't done correctly to begin with. You have a lost a potential customer & as a business owner myself, you should of done something. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY & thank you for setting back our remodel.

Do Not Use this company! I had ApexPros come out to give me an estimate to put a single GFCI outlet with a dedicated circuit in my upstairs master bathroom. This would entail running wire across my unfinished basement and up to the second floor master bathroom. The electrician said it would cost $4,000.00 to install the outlet. I told him that seemed too expensive. I said I had other people coming out to give me estimates. When I followed up to ask for a written estimate they said since I said it seemed too expensive that I would not be receiving a written quote. What a joke. I think they knew there is no scenario where a single outlet installation could cost $4,000.00. These folks are crooks. I’m not usually on to write negative reviews but this company is a joke and seem to stay in business by overcharging people in an extraordinary fashion.
