Communication is on point! From the estimate with Trevor through the day of installation with Quincy and the group. They are upfront with pricing and what is best for YOU! They check in on you throughout the process as well. I felt at ease that they sent photos of any thing they see while they are working that they need to repair along with updated progress drone photos. So happy we chose them for our new roof. Highly recommend.

Because of my experience in Commercial Real Estate and in Residential Historic neighborhoods, my exposure to service providers and project contractors is extensive. I have never experienced a more flawless process than I did with Sword Roofing. The professionalism and ownership of the Sales Rep, through his communication with the Operations Leader, to the the ON-site Supervisor was unparalleled in any precious experience. The ARMY of technicians who arrived and magically transformed this roof, taking it down to the ORIGINAL 1900 studs and identifying solutions was remarkable. I absolutely expect this too take 2 full days with a small crew of 5 and a team leader. I completely underestimated SWORD roofing and NOW understand their high rating on various platforms. The new plywood was an on-site, mid-project need and they still competed this job in 5 hours with ZERO debris and not a single old nail to be found, anywhere. It was the most impressive thing I’ve seen and worth every penny of this massive investment to see her through another 50 years. Thank you Sword - we literally could not be happier.

Got a quote for fascia metal replacement (@50 linear feet) due to storm damage losing a short run, wanted the whole side redone for uniformity as well as other areas loosened by the storm, and a quote for gutter guards. One piece of fascia was blown off in storm. Agreed to all fascia metal (front gutter to peak to back gutter) replaced on that side of home and told them we wanted to hold off on gutter guards (SPOKE DIRECTLY WITH ERIC B). Not my fault it was not updated in work request. Emailed a date for repair by CODY (YES I did reply sounds good, because I was under the impression we were only getting metal on side of house replaced) CODY's email DOES NOT include work to be done. Their subcontractors showed up without calling, didn't make contact with me or ring bell. I was cutting my grass in the rear of the home and just happened to hear ladders going up. They didn't follow request I made at time of order (Direction of the overlaps do the wind direction at our home). They installed gutter guards I didn't ask for, which I had to pay for since they were already in, and hoped for the best. Gutter guards have created problems we didn't have before, water running over gutters in a place it never has overrun in our 11+ years in our home. Got up on the ladder to see what was going on, to find they had forced the metal A frame over the gutter guards, which caused a shingle gap on the roof. Which I was told is how these guards are installed, and had I decided on them, I would have asked those questions. T'here are exposed screws that run out the gutter which are visible. Yes Eric B came out today, to see what the issues were, gave me the same story about everything was installed properly. AGAIN the issue is gutter guards were not agreed upon to be installed, only agreed to receiving a quote on them. Every-time I brought up our conversation before work was started about not doing gutter guards, I was told everything was installed properly. When they replaced the all of the fascia metal on the side of the home, they replaced one side as it was originally but not the side with the damage. Pictures show the differences and the waves in the metal. I'm not thrilled with the waves and inconsistency of the metal on the side of the house, as long as they protect the wood, I can accept it is what it is. I never said I expected the replacement metal to match weathered siding, another reason we opted to replace the whole run, not just the piece that was removed by the storm. The color match is fine. I don't know where you are getting this was a repair, not a replacement, 50 linear feet would be a heck of span for a simple repair. Being only one piece of the originally fascia metal was damaged severely in the storm, beyond repair. All I wanted was the gutter guards, AGAIN that I DID NOT AUTHORIZE installation of removed. It would be this simple. I told your agent, I would edit review, (which he brought up) when things were made right. I don't appreciate being gaslighted when I'm not the one who made a mistake. I've added more photos of the repairs. 5/12 UPDATE: Was told after EB visited my home to see issues, gutter guards would be removed by 5/15 (I the customer actually removed them on 5/13, due to issues listed above), and awaiting refund issued for guards. Which is fine, instead of angry back and forth. The owners response of I should have talked to manager is interesting as I called the day of the installation, with no answer or return phone call. The very next correspondence from the company was an invoice, which was promptly paid. I don't believe Sword is a bad company, mistakes were made and a simple apology and making the situation right would have gone a long way.

Absolutely wonderful company to do business with. My salesman was Trevor and he was and still is (I've referred all of my neighbors so I keep seeing him around) extremely helpful and attentive. From the first meeting where he thought of something specific to my home/needs and called later with a suggestion, to him stopping by the day of install to ensure things were all delivered correctly and within mins getting something replaced that was damaged. Definite shout out to Manny! He was extremely knowledgeable and informative. Bob Vila's got nothing on him. He knew everything and answered every question thoroughly. All of the crew were awesome as well. They worked quick and very much as a solid team. Very conscientious of my neighbors too! They checked the adjacent yards and even stopped painting when the wind was blowing and my neighbor had just gotten home. Not to mention they all knew I was worried about my metal yard chicken and I watched the guys slowly peel back the old shingles above it and grab each one before it fell so as to not hit it. Wow. And then when Quincy came to do the final walk around and collect the balance there was a credit for something they didn't have to replace. I wouldn't have even known! That kind of honesty is the kind of business you know you can trust. My only slight not even a complaint after all this was, I would have liked to have known that I was an afternoon install. But even then everyone apologized and they were still done before dark. *The color is Midnight Plum.

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience with this company, especially the sales person Curry. After requesting a roofing quote, I spent months trying to get a response. I was repeatedly given the runaround, with little to no communication or follow-through. What’s even more troubling is that instead of contacting me directly, they shared my personal financial information with my employer (who gave me the recommendation) —without my permission. This is a major violation of privacy and completely unacceptable. I called the financial department for this company asking for help with assistance for the credit application to include my spouse. They did not answer, I left a voicemail. I never heard or received a call back. At no point did I receive a proper quote or clear explanation, despite my repeated attempts to follow up. Between the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and serious breach of confidentiality, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. When they finally did follow up, months after the initial inspection, instead of contacting me directly (the customer), they called my employer and gave his side of the story without ever giving me insight on my approval status for a new roof. I emailed the company with my concerns and what they responded back with was “it would become a learning moment for said sales person” Do not recommend.
