- TFTomie Faulkner4 days ago1.0We hired this company for a major electrical service upgrade, nearly a $10,000 job. Joe came out, gave us the estimate, and explained the full process, including that Duke Energy would need to inspect the work before power could be restored. Duke Energy later confirmed this. After we signed and paid the down payment, the company texted and emailed us saying the work was completed and that we needed to schedule an inspection and pay the final bill. The problem was that no work had been done and the job wasn’t even scheduled yet. We then received conflicting information from multiple employees. One told us Joe had quit and wasn’t their best installer. Another said Duke Energy didn’t need to inspect, which contradicted both Joe and Duke Energy. On the scheduled work day, the crew arrived, started cutting panels, then told us they couldn’t reconnect the garage power, didn’t have the needed parts, and wanted another $3,500. We told them to stop. An hour later, the county inspector showed up to inspect work that had never been done. He told our daughter this was the second job that day from the same company with the same issue. We canceled the job. Too many mistakes, contradictions, surprise charges, and red flags. We cannot recommend this company

Patrick was great to work with from the start and was always available to answer my questions after the initial estimate for replacing a fan in our great room. He went above and beyond by recommending glow lights for our upstairs loft and kitchen, and the results look amazing. Throughout the project, Patrick was patient, helpful in explaining the work being done, punctual, and extremely detail-oriented. We will definitely use Patrick and Mister Sparky again for any future electrical needs. 5 stars!

It’s not his fault that he works for a company that charged me almost $250 to tell me there was nothing they could do. I could see $50/$75 for their time, but to charge me as if they had actually fixed something is offensive, particularly in this economy. Shame.

He took care of everything within about 30 minutes and took the time to show me where different things were and explain things I needed to be aware of as a new homeowner. He also offered, at my request, to provide an estimate for some additional electrical work I may want to have done in the future. I never felt pressured, and I really appreciated how helpful and knowledgeable he was. I’m so glad Mister Sparky was recommended to me. I would definitely recommend Andrew and Mr. Sparky to anyone needing electrical work!
