  I've used Hicon for 2 different projects and highly recommend. Most recently they rebuilt a retaining wall and stairs. The crew was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and clean.

  We bought a 1990s house with a painted brick exterior. Some of the painted brick had spalled due to water damage and other mortar needed repair. Dave replied promptly to my online inquiry, met with me, provided a proposal and put us on their schedule. Gary, Joe, and Nelson were careful, thorough, professional, and cleaned up daily. We are happy with their work and will use them again if needed.

  HiCon has completed several projects - one very large and a couple of smaller ones - at my home over the last year. They have done a beautiful job with all of them. They rebuilt a long retaining wall on my property, following the engineering design I had obtained for an Allan Block type wall. This project also involved reconstruction of a paver driveway, and the addition of a new sidewalk going to my back yard. They have project managers who help you with planning and oversight of the work in the various areas in which they specialize. For various reasons, not due to HiCon, the planning time period for the project became lengthy; Steve, the project manager, worked patiently with me over many months as I resolved some planning concerns. He also worked very well with the other professionals/contractors involved. The large project was completed in a timely manner in spite of some less than agreeable weather; Rob, the foreman, was always pleasant and on-task, and very easy to communicate with during the work. He also was very considerate of my neighbors, who were closely adjacent to the retaining wall part of the project. I have since had a couple of smaller projects, and they have gone equally well, and been treated with great care and responsiveness on the part of all the HiCon employees involved. HiCon offers detailed contracts, and will work out questions with you in the planning stages of your project. In my experience, HiCon is a very professional company in their level of craftsmanship and in their business processes. And, they are thoughtful people in their manner of working around your home. Highly recommended.

  Had someone come out 8/13 to look at my chimney and some possible scratch coat work to be done. No quote was given, no call back or follow up.

  Very satisfied and happy with the workmanship and how nice my retaining wall looks. Hicon specialists were great. Always prompt and professional. Friendly too, that's always a plus.
