    The technicians are just the best problem-solvers. We have used Summer’s for over 5 years after installing 2 new heating/air conditioning systems. Recently called for help on the air conditioning and reached incompetent and unbelievably annoying AI “Gary” who answers off hours and when dispatchers are busy. This is such a terrible system I would change providers if not locked into a warranty…..I called repeatedly over 4 days trying to reach a live Dispatcher only to be routed to the AI over and over. It was not an issue AI could resolve and I could not talk to a living person. Beyond frustrating….not the technician or dispatchers fault, but their owners and management team better find another strategy to communicate with long-standing customers or this one will be moving on.

    Matt came out, yes after hours but wanted $610 (that included a $99 discount from what he said) to replace a capacitor. He said it was a larger size (ok so $60 for a large good capacitor) and after hours so that explained the price. We rent our home and my landlord knew she was being gouged and refused the service which caused my family to sleep in 85 -90 degrees depending on what floor of the house you’re on. Another contractor came out the next day and was done in 7 minutes. Summers should be ashamed of themselves what they did was criminal.

    Techs are always nice but we've had a terrible time with this company. Purchased an HVAC system from them in 2022. Have had multiple issues with the system itself. They've replaced components of the system multiple times. We've been told to purchase items to add to the system to fix the issues. Today, we had an HVAC tune up appointment scheduled for 10 am. At 10:16 am, I get a message that they need to reschedule. I called to let them know that we haven't had air all weekend. They decided it was an emergency appointment then. They came out at 2:58 pm. Tell me that some wires must have come loose when the fan kicked on. Then told me that they were able to complete some of the things they would have done during the HVAC tune up. So I paid for an emergency call for the day my regularly scheduled tune up was already set up for them to complete what they would have done during the tune up. Last summer they were out for some plumbing repair, were so violent with the pipe, I had to pay for an entire pipe replacement. The situation itself will hopefully give you some insight into the business practices.

    Matt did an awesome job! One of the things that I really liked about this company is they are great communicators. They pick up right away and they send a technician within just a few hours if it’s during the daytime. Even after hours they have had a technician to the house within a couple hours. I also like how they give you a heads up when they’re on the way. They give you at least 15 or 20 minutes notice. I am really impressed with this company and I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Especially Matt Moore! Talk about an awesome guy and very honest. He is also a very knowledgeable technician and did a great job of explaining what the issue was.

    If I could give a lower rating I would. I have a coupon for a 99.00 drain clean and or a free service call fee coupon if repair is purcased. This is a typical drain clean that has happened Many times over the 50 years of living here. The "expert" technician looked down the drain and and said "yep it's clogged". It is easy access straight down the yard. They gave him an estimate of 530.00 my dad declined the service. He was told he had to pay 100.00 service fee..they were tricked into thinking they had a reasonable price through the coupon only to pay 100 for nothing..the expert did exactly what my dad did he looked in the clean out drain....I called when i got home from work. I asked the operator to explain the fees based on what coupon said she explained the expert estimated they needed to auger the main line with a piping machine..I clarified "snake it right" she said yes so I asked what type of drain cleaning is 99.00, she said didn't know only the experts could say. I asked to speak to an expert..they were unavailable but she will have management team reach out. I hate that my elderly parents can't get local basic services without being taken advantage of. Bait and Switch.
